Waste of money

I bought this as an 'upgrade' for my old Silk Epil 5 Xelle, which I've had for over a decade, although I only started epilating regularly about a year ago. The new one has some nice features- I like that it's waterproof and rechargeable- but it's let down completely by the size of the head. It's so wide that I can't effectively reach trickier more concave areas, and also the way it's designed means I can't see where I'm going with it. On top of that I find the way the head moves very annoying, because again in trickier areas it just can't glide over the surface, instead kind of catching on the skin. I made the mistake of switching the guard from the massage rollers to the other one to try and get to the parts of my armpits that I couldn't reach, and ended up with the worst burning sensation I've had from epilating.
All in all, this thing is a complete waste of money. I've returned to using my old cheap epilator for my armpits and bikini area, and only use this one for my legs since the wider head is at least slightly more effective there. I haven't noticed it to be more effective at picking up short hairs or anything though so there's really nothing about it that would make me recomend it.
