It does what it says it will do

Had this machine to replace a hotpoint Aquarius. Advertised as a best buy and I think it is a best buy. Straight forward and easy to understand controls. Only used the dishwasher a few times and it does the job. Still working out the best way to load mugs, cups and various glasses. Seems sturdy enough not flimsy at all.

Great dishwasher and simple to use. I would recommend this to everyone.

Can’t fault AO for delivery and efficiency. Dishwasher has a good capacity and the wash cycles are pretty quick (compared to our old machine). One small issue, if you heavy load the front of the bottom drawer you do need to keep a good hold on it while pulling out or pushing back in, as there is a gap of around 6 inches where there is no support underneath and the drawer does fall in making a right clatter. If you have delicate items in there such as glasses they could easily smash.

Excellent value. Really good capacity. Good range of settings from 30 mins to longer eco setting. Really pleased with this.

As a bottom end of the price range item this performs well enough. Time delay choices of 3, 6 or 9 hours and enough temperature settings for most purposes including a longer eco cycle. There's a half load setting too. I did have a couple of instances of tablets not dissolving but this seems okay now. The instructions say don't use tablets or sachets on short cycles, but try finding loose powder or dishwasher liquid in supermarkets nowadays - good luck! If I have a reservation it's the stacking racks. Fine for plates, but (for me, anyway) hopeless for bowls, which don't seem to fit into the shape of the racks, especially above the upper spray arm mounting. They just keep falling over, however carefully you put them in. The top rack is adjustable to a lower position. This was a piece of cake on my old Hotpoint, but is so awkward on the Electra as to be not worth the trouble. Someone else has mentioned the inadequacy of the instructions and I agree with this. You can find a more detailed leaflet on line but the definition in the illustrations is quite poor. This sounds like a catalogue of complaints, but it's just meant to give a clear idea of a few drawbacks. Overall, it does a good enough job and though there are some negative aspects I would recommend it as good value at the price.

Working perfect and very efficient

Washes and dries very well.It is quiet! Only slight issue is that the upper tray doesn't quite cater for pint glasses!
