We purchased this cooker to replace an old model and it has exceeded our expectations in every respect. It looks and cooks out of this world and taken our enjoyment of cooking and dining to another level. Apart from wife it is the best thing in my home.

    Oven arrived poorly built

The oven itself is amazing however for the price it’s been built by a blind man! Chips and enamel missing all over it! Delivery was a nightmare the drivers were rude and damaged the cooker. AO dealt with our complaint brilliantly just a shame the item isn’t fully checked over before delivering and the driver legged it before we had chance to refuse it

Reliable and sturdy cooker from a well known manufacturer

    5/5
This dual fuel range was my second purchase of a Rangemaster because my previous one lasted many years and easy to use. The Double ovens come into their own when cooking for families or different temperatures. The ability to choose part of a ceramic hob or the grill hot plate is useful when cooking for one. I haven`t used the Wok but expect this will be useful too, although in my case I preferred having the old flat hotplate for keeping plates or food warm which I do miss on this cooker, it was an extra flat space along with the old flat griddle when dishing up food and wish they had incorporated this in place of the ceramic hob or Wok. I found the instruction book and controls confusing especially on the multifunction oven and had to phone for an explanation. Also they have changed the switches to turning on anti-clockwise and it starts from high heat to low heat instead of the other way round, another confusion. The top rings apart from the ceramic hob is Gas and the ovens have been changed to Electric with fan. They have incorporated a defrost on the multifunction oven and ability to choose which section of the oven you want heated which I haven`t got my head around at moment, too much info to absorb. It also took me several days of understanding how to switch the grill on, again due to the instructions and labelling logos for the oven switches. A good point of the grill is the easy glide out feature. Disappointed they haven`t incorporated an overall top pull down cover which made it so much easier to keep the gas hobs clean, this is a new safety feature which would be impeded if a lid was installed, think this part of the design should have been thought of too. I dislike seeing all the top ironwork, looks clunky now and doesn`t give a smooth inbuilt look that the old cover did. This is an irritant for me that will not change due to the amount of dusting and now involves removing the iron pan rests to dust every day, as too is fact that doing away with the hotplate for warming plates or food is a loss because along with the old flat griddle plate(now has deeper sides to catch juices) means losing an extra flat area to use when dishing up if you are tight for flat space either side of the cooker. I could do without the Wok or ceramic hob to have this useful choice instead, I now have to heat the plates in the oven, if there is space! However, I was able to repeat my preference for the Racing Green colour which matches my decor. Very pleased with the new fan ovens, cook more evenly and the ability of multfunction oven to choose different heats, like rapid heat or defrost although I haven`t used this as yet, too much info to get my head round at moment. Note: the oven will not turn on unless the cooker clock is on, but for me I prefer to switch everything off at night incase I forget and leave something on, it is also not easy seeing at a glance if the warning lights are showing `On` because the new incorporation of a bar across the top of the switches (for hanging oven gloves or tea towels) that obscures the view for a quick check so I have to set the clock every morning! I chose this make/model as it was similar to what I had before and being a tight fit thought it would be a natural replacement for a cooker that had been sturdy and reliable in the past and overall I am pleased with despite the irritants and I would recommend as a good choice.

Only had the rangemaster dual fuel classic deluxe model for a couple of weeks so far very pleased with it. Lots of cooking space and nice hobs, opted for this model to go in old house and looks good.

We bought this cooker as a replacement for a Leisure Rangemaster cooker that was approximately 28 years old. The new one so far is of a similar quality to the previous cooker. Great versatility coupled with ease of use. This is a must for any keen chef.
