    Great range for the price

Only had it a short while and I’m learning how it works as I’ve swapped from a very old Aga. Very pleased so far.

Looks good, does all my baking and roasts

I chose this 90cm range because of the 9 shelves in the second oven for batch baking. The AO video was worth watching. The shelves of oven 2 are narrower than expected so new baking trays were required. The grill is fab .. has its own fan, which makes it quick so 4 slices of cheese on toast are grilled to perfection in super quick time! I think the main oven is large enough for a reasonable sized Christmas turkey. The hob is easy to clean with solid cast iron supports, which add to the build quality. The controls are easy clean, sturdy and appear well constructed. The timer is idiot proof too. Pre-heating times are a bit longer than I would have liked. Also, there is no wheels for moving the cooker. I might recommend getting the electric and gas connection booked with your order because it took an age to get the gas safe guy to connect us. Luckily, we had an electrician at the house otherwise we would have waited for them too.

    Very pleased with it.

Our cooker gave up on the day before Christmas Eve so we were in panic mode looking for a new one. A relative suggested AO.com so we had a look and my wife found the cooker she had dreamed of for a number of years. This one. It is a beautiful looking cooker with excellent features, most of which we haven't had the chance to use yet! It has quite an imposing presence in the kitchen as we have only had 600 mm cookers before. The doors have a lovely strong latch as they close and overall the build quality seems excellent. The electric fan ovens warm up quickly and food is cooked evenly from the top to bottom shelf. The large centre gas hob is perfect for big pots of potatoes for roasting or a big batch of curry. It feeds our family of four with ease and had no problems feeding eight of us on Boxing Day. Only a few niggles with it. First the main oven is slightly smaller than a normal 600mm as it needs the space for the tall oven on the side, which does mean we've had to buy some new cookware. Second the handle on the tall, side oven is not quite level, (not a problem as such as it is not loose, it just plays on my OCD!), and third I am now in the process of building a new kitchen around it as we had to sacrifice some worktop for it to fit! Overall very pleased with it. Would definitely recommend but make sure you have the room for it and the necessary connections, (gas and electric) are in a good position.

    4th time being fixed

    1/5
Had this 3 years and after being fixed twice under warranty it has now gone wrong for the 4th time in the week before having everyone round for Christmas. Each time something different and trips the whole house electrics. One time I looked inside with the repair man and a loose wire had melted through on a hot part of the oven frame causing a short. Pretty dangerous. Not impressed after paying so much for a range cooker. If you buy then make sure you have good repair man locally like the one we have whom we now are on first name terms with! Wish we'd bought a different one now but stuck with it as it was an investment in the first place. Not AOs fault as they were great during warranty period. Nice when it works.

    Solid, good quality range cooker

    5/5
Took a long time to decide on a range cooker and ended up choosing this one based on a combination of looks (shiny), price (bargain) and features (good). It doesn't have a multi function oven but I realised I'd rarely used that feature on my previous cooker so decided it wasn't something I needed. The bottom left oven and the large right oven are both fan ovens and both have catalytic liners, which is really good at this price point. The long oven on the right is really big and even fits our biggest baking trays, which we were very suSome other 90cm ranges we saw had tiny equivalent ovens. Comes with 4 racks. The bottom left oven is also pretty big, fitting pizza trays with ease. Will be cooking the turkey in this one! This one comes with 2 racks. I checked the temperature in both ovens with a separate thermometer and temps were within 1 or 2 degrees when the light clicked off, and continued to rise to exactly the right temperature. Both ovens took a bit longer than I anticipated to heat up. The grill won't work unless the door is open and has a powerful fan to ensure the knobs don't melt. As far as the hob goes, the burners are powerful and there's a good amount of space around the wok burner. It doesn't come with any supports for a classically shaped wok however (at this price I'll buy some separately..), but is brilliant for large paella pans. All burners have excellent heat control. The cast iron pan supports are flat on top and have a nice "grippy" feel. They look nice too All in all I'm very impressed with this cooker, and pleased with my purchase.

    Why oh why! !!

My new range oven looks great and so far I am enjoying using it and my review rating would have been higher BUT. ... Why oh why did the manufacturers stick labels on the door of the grill and sticky tape on the RH oven door??? When I removed them it left marks on the doors and now an engineer is having to come out next week to bring new doors !!! I'm sure that I'm not the first customer that has experienced this problem so WHY do they continue to do this? Surely a tie on label would solve the problem and save them time and money on replacement doors not to mention the frustration of the customers. Come on Leasure use your brains! !!!

    Incompetent after sale service.

The cooker itself is fine, however it arrived with two stickers attached to the grill door that when removed left a shadow on the paintwork, arrangements were made to replace the grill door but the engineer turned up without a replacement door. Like most people I am busy and arranged this around my day off (complete waste of time), a new appointment has been made and hopefully they will turn up with the part this time. Incompetence aside , all this hassle could have been avoided had the stickers been placed on the glass door or even tied with a tag. I am disappointed, it's taken the shine off my proud new purchase.
