I have always wanted a range and I got this one in the leisure range and it it everything I wanted. Great choice of oven types with clear door to see what’s cooking. And it looks fantastic in my new kitchen.

We replace an 18 yo version of the same dual-fuel range. This has much improved performance in that the ovens heat up faster and it has a tremendous grill - the one very poor performer on the older model. We love the large all-glass doors too. All round the insulation is superior. Ovens are modestly power rated that still heat up fast: the glass doors stay cool and they are easy to clean. (The inner door glass removes easily for cleaning.) What we don't like are the brain dead knobs. These polished chrome knobs only have a tiny pointer on the front facing edge: you cannot see it at all if you are standing close to the stove looking down and setting oven temperatures is extremely difficult because even stooping down, the pointers on the front of the knobs are miles from the temperature scale making alignment unnecessarily hard. Even worse, the scales are marked beneath the knobs making easy for a child to read but unnecessarily difficult for anyone over 4' tall. We will shortly be scratching narrow grooves in the chrome knobs and filling with red paint to act as sensible pointers. However, the minor niggles with the knobs doesn't distract from how well the stove performs and how great it looks. And it has cooked a cracking traditional Christmas cake!

I'm probably biased as have just replaced a Rangemaster, that I inherited in a new house, that was truly awful, so to have a cooker that works is so good...my partner and I cook from scratch most days I have had a leisure before so had high expectations and haven't been disappointed. The hob cooks well and is easy to control. it is well designed so pans don't tip or slide. The surface is surprisingly easy to clean despite feeling textured The ovens both cook evenly though I have found the RHS tall oven hotter for some reason - I have managed to cook a whole roast in it, meat, roast potatoes, parsnips etc and all cooked evenly. I have cooked a meringue roulade and this was perfect - an even colour all round There are 3 things that could be improved, the cooling fan is quite noisy, it is easy to lean on the knobs and trigger the clicking of the ignition system and you have to remember to hold the ignition for a second or two with the gas on to the light the hob - you soon get used to this and none of these issues take away from this being an excellent cooker

Only had it a week but already love it. It is very sturdy and the cast iron griddle and pot holders are heavy and feel of very good quality The automatic ignition system is an improvement on my old range as is having two fan ovens Overall so far very pleased. It certainly looks the part!
