Works ok the only problem with this oven everything is on the side of the buttons which makes it really hard to see temperature and settings, ok if you are 6 ft tall. Would be nice to have the temperature of the oven on a Digital display.

Not all that happy with this appliance. The oven looks good and yes it cooks ok but I do have some issues with it: the control dials are not very easy to read, for me they are especially difficult as I am a small person (5ft) and I have to use a step stool to set the oven, not ideal. After the oven had been running for a while cooking a Sunday roast I felt that the front of the unit was very hot and the surrounding cabinetry had also heated up. Another problem is the condensation dripping from the bottom of the unit, this seemingly is a common problem but one I could do without as the water actually managed to get. Inside the cupboard under the oven. I had my last built in oven for nine years without any of these problems and I so regret buying this one. Would I recommend it to a friend? NO.

The oven arrived and our initial thought were great as for the price it’s a nice looking oven. When you initially turn the product on the elements really give off a strange smell, but this burnt off after 20 minutes. We started the oven and I noticed that the fan didn’t work, even after waiting for the oven to get to temperature it wouldn’t turn on, Hotpoint service wouldn’t send a new product and it’s 2 weeks before the service engineer can come out.

cooker looks are very good , controls seem a bit fussy but only time will tell , need to read manual thoroughly to be able to understand controls rating on first use 3

great looking cooker, but the controls are very difficult to read unless you are 7ft tall and looking from above, would be nice if Hotpoint could print and send out some stickers to fit around the knobs to make reading the controls easier

Nice looking oven like the clean function. The issues are the dials are cheap and become very hot during cooking. In addition it is difficult to see the numbers on the dial very much a design fault. Everything else seems ok

The dials for the both the top and bottom oven only have the readings on the top of the dial, for somebody who is under 5 feet five inches tall you cannot see the readings when the oven is housed in a tower unit. It would be better if the indicators were on the underside of each button rather than the top.

This oven is sleek, black and shiny. It is energy efficient and works well, I have been pleased with my cookery results using the oven. But, design over function has meant the controls are very difficult to read. Nothing on the oven itself, just on the knobs set at the top. I am 5’8” , but still had to stand on tiptoe to try and fathom out what they said. My eye sight isn’t the best which doesn’t help. Ideal oven for someone well over six foot with eagle-eyed vision.
