It's very compact and very quick. It does sound like it's haunted when it's on but the efficiency outweighs the unusual background noise!

Very happy with my new Acer Aspire XC-840 Tower - but it would have been better if there was a clear guide enclosed with the item. Even a basic ABC fashion would have been acceptable to guide you through, but alas in this new world you have to go online to get everything. Though you do get reams of literature in every language under the sun for the very short 1 year warrantee details. One other gripe is the on/off switch is part of the logo which is not immediately obvious, but could have been with a guide had there been one, but like the rest of society it's all on line or via an app, so by now you know I'm an older person and God forbid I've never owned a smart phone!

It's cheap and cheerful, quiet, fast, no dvd drive but not a problem.

It was easy to set up, it's much smaller than the unit it's replacing and now l have got used to Windows 11 it's very easy to use. Acer zAsp

I bought this PC to replace an old Win 10 Acer with a Win 11 PC to do the company accounts from home. It is marvelous, so fast, and very quiet. We now have 2 Acer XC840 PCs in our home office, the second one for doing company admin like VAT and HMRC, although the older one is getting a bit noisy perhaps it's because the new one is so quiet? My grandson has asked if he could have one of them as he has lots of schoolwork to do over the Christmas period. I think I will get a new XC840 for him as well.

The PC was set-up & useable in 10 minutes. As it should, it seemed quicker than my previous machine. The only real downside is the cooling fan, which makes a strange, almost haunted(!), whistling noise. I notice it less than I did at first though!

It's OK but that's all .Fan is quite noisy and revs up .
