    Avoid BEKO at all costs

    Please avoid buying this tumble dryer or ordering from BEKO in general if you don't want to be left disappointed. Purchased the tumble dryer towards the end of October, was delivered a couple of days later - delivery from AO was perfect, no complaints there. Went to use the tumble dryer and within 10 minutes it tripped the RCD switches, because the dryer was originally in the garage we moved it to the kitchen and it did the exact same thing. Contacted AO and they said you have to contact BEKO directly, well that's when the fun begins. On average you will be on hold between 15-45 minutes before reaching someone, when we eventually got hold of someone, we were told to change the fuse which was incorrect advice because the tumble dryer still turned on. Then we are given a date for an engineer to come round, which will take on average 2-3 weeks, due to working 6 days a week I made BEKO aware that I couldn't be home apart from Wednesdays, but two days later they changed our appointment to two days earlier which would be a Monday. When I made them aware I couldn't get the time off they said they couldn't change back to the original appointment date, so we had to wait another week or so for a new appointment. When the engineer came, he was lovely, explained how the heater was the reason why the dryer was tripping and we needed a new part, he explained how he just ordered a part but it didn't arrive on time so someone will be in contact to let us know when. Two weeks later and nothing, after noticing that we were getting mould from the condensation on our windows, caused by washing naturally drying in our living room (because we have a tumble dryer that doesn't work), I went to contact BEKO again, which took on average 20 minutes again. When I eventually got through, I think the staff member on the phone realised my frustration and said he would contact head officer to organise for a replacement to be sent as it was taking too long to receive a part, he also gave me a second number to ring because I was having trouble of getting hold of them. So I called today like I was advised, to find out what head office said, and I have been on hold for a total of two hours today, I can't get hold of anyone and the number I was given is now no longer working. Don't order from BEKO if you want a dryer that actually works, or you want to get hold of someone if something goes wrong. Luckily there is only two of us but I couldn't imagine the inconvenience it would cause for other customers who need a dryer due to having a family, especially with not being able to dry clothes outside due to the weather. BEKO please feel free to contact me so you can arrange someone to pick up this tumble dryer and give us a full refund so we can buy from elsewhere.

    I hate this tumble dryer, it lets off SO much heat, it takes forever to dry anything, it stops and starts mid cycle, it’s loud, it’s just really disappointing, my previous 10 year old one was much better!

    Doesn’t work properly, taking 6 hours to dry any clothes, I’ve got an engineer appointment but the soonest they can come is 2 weeks time, very poor.

    We got it delivered monday 2nd November turned it on and within 10 minutes it got real hot and cut out it wouldn't go back on until it cooled down there is a fault with it and were waiting for a engineer to look at it tomorrow I know a.o it's not there fault and there will change it if it's got a fault with it .

    I don’t ever leave bad reviews. But it’s broken and I was supposed to be having an engineer out to look at it. He cancelled on the day. So I’m still without a tumble dryer. I’ve had no real use out of it yet.

    Not loving it. I previously had a vented dryer but because of changing the kitchen around had to go for a condenser. I have to run the programmes twice to get anything near dry. Bought because of good reviews but I wouldn't recommend.

    It takes quite a long time to dry and the finishes don’t feel the best quality. I miss my old tumble dryer but needed a condenser.
