    Not for me

It is ok but I don’t like the dial, it could be just me. I prefer my old one where I could just set the time I wanted drier to run.

    Bad smell

Great functionality, I would have scored this machine higher but unfortunately this machine left a horrid smell on all the fabrics being dried. It has taken several weeks and ten's of cycles before the smell has finally subsided.

Saves energy but with an caveat

    3/5
Great energy saving tricks but when the tumble dryer thinks the clothes are dry it switches off but the clothes are not completely dry, apparently this is a thing with condenser dryers and I haven't found a way to stop this. It does switch on again after a time to stop clothes creasing which is nice but the first issue is a issue and I have to put clothes on a drying rack to complete the drying

No option to have a lower temperature for delicates etc.

    3/5
Dries fine but there's no way of finding out which programmes might have a lower drying temperature for delicate items - there is a "Gentle Care" option but the manual says "It dries the shirts in a more sensitive manner, and causes less creasing". The "Synthetics" programme provides no further info either regarding reduced temperature. A standard machine if you aren't worried about your smalls and delicates!

Looks good. Delivery was great. Does have an odour which stays on clothes even after a few uses and a slight burning smell. Don't know if this is normal or not. Water tank doesn't hold alot so empty after every use. Don't think it's worth £250 that I paid.

The settings do seem to be almost arbitrary and very often, even if the "cupboard dry" settings are selected clothing still comes out slightly damp. As a consequence I usually find I have to run a further cycle of 30 minutes to ensure the laundry is dry. Also a tube is supplied which can direct the collected water from the condenser to an outside drain, useful as it negates the need to empty the tank. However the instructions of how to fit it are very vague. On the plus side it's very quiet when in use, also easy to load/unload by virtue of the big door. Very simple to empty the water tank, and clean out the lint filter too.
