This cooker hood is noisy if you click it on number 3 but apart from that a good product and it can be vented on top or at the back and you cannot normally find a back vented cooker hood these days they are very hard to come across but it is 1 for the back if you are looking for 1 like that. Also love the look of the hood not to bulky and has a slick edge to it.

The cooker hood does a fab job getting rid of condensation and smell. It’s quite loud but that is to be expected for such a high performance cooker hood! It was easy to install.

Very noisy, even on slow speed. The carbon filter doesn’t come with the fan , and it’s quite expensive to purchase separately. The bulb cover was missing from the front display, that indicates the fan is in operation. Normally a big fan of bosh products, but very dissatisfied this time.

The order, delivery and self it went smoothly. It looks very smart and has made a huge difference in extracting smells/smoke when cooking.

Had been looking for a rear-vented model for a long time before I found this one. Arrived well packaged with two years parts and labour guarantee. Generally well made but the metal is a bit thin and tinny - not up to the usual Bosch standard in my opinion. It can be wall mounted or attached under a cupboard with all the necessary fixings included. The lights (2 bulbs) are bright white and more than adequate to illuminate the hob, I could actually turn off the kitchen main lights and still see to cook. The fan. I agree with other user comments that it is excessively noisy on number 3 setting, making normal conversation impossible within close proximity to it, however number 1 and 2 are a easier on the ear and cope well with steam removal even with three pans on the go. Overall, I would buy this cooker hood again as it fits my requirement to vent from the rear straight outside.

I bought this to replace an ageing Neff unit. It was very easy to fit. It is lighter than it looks and I managed to fit it on my own with no problems. The lights are nice and bright and the push buttons are positive to use. It removes cooking smells very effectively (vented to the outside). It's a bit noisy but then it is quite a low cost unit.

Having spent ages trying to find a rear-vented extractor hood with good reviews and from a recognized manufacturer, I came across this one from Bosch. Other suppliers seem to call top vents "rear ventable" expecting you to fit ducting at 90 degrees - which in turn lowers the height above the hob if you already have a hole in the wall! This is the genuine article, came with clear instructions, a drilling template and simple accessories. It was easy to fit and took about a tenth of the time I spent online trying to pin down the product to buy (even ignoring the one I bought from B&Q and had to return because it was top vent). This Bosch extractor looks good and has been working well since fitted a week ago so we are well-pleased.
