    Good Cooker

    4/5
Very good cooker. Both oven and hobbs are very reliable and it heats up quickly. It also has a very stylish look about it. The only thing that I think could be better is that the oven fan is quite loud.

Beautiful range cooker but be careful with the grill pan

    4/5
I bought this range to replace my Flavel range that came with the house after it suddenly exploded. I have had this for a couple of weeks and I am really pleased with it. It's beautiful and cooks well. I especially like the fact that the control dials can not be pulled out, unlike our previous one. My kids enjoyed snatching them and throwing them around the room. The look on my 1 year old's face when she discovered how secure they are and that she could not just change the time by pressing random buttons was priceless! The child lock is a really useful feature for a young family. I tend to use my fan oven more than the conventional, in fact I haven't used this conventional oven for cooking yet. I plan to use it whilst entertaining or just as a dark warm place to proof my bread loaf dough. I love that the fan oven is higher up, I hated getting so low down and having to touch the floor all the time with my previous cookers. I love how the burners look, their sizes and how easy to clean they are. I cook every day so I have tried all the burners now and they are well thought out. There aren't any pointless sizes like my previous one. Even the smallest burner works well and holds my little milk pan nicely, perfect for scrambled eggs for the kids. The oven sizes are decent but the fan is slightly smaller. I think it's because the compartment where the fan in the fan oven is, sticks out into the oven. I have a 14inch large pizza pan, which doesn't fit in the fan oven easily. It just means I have to turn the shelf around and slide it back in the wrong way. Otherwise the door will not close. This can also be resolved by just using the other oven. I prefer to use the fan, but I will try the conventional oven one of these days. It's definitely slightly bigger and the pan fits. The storage compartment is convenient and a very good size. The negatives: The worst negative point is that the grill pan is sharp round the edges and managed to cut my finger. It appears that it was not finished off properly. The cut wasn't deep but ended up frightening the kids with blood everywhere. I reported it and was offered a replacement grill, which I'm waiting for but I was disappointed that there was no apology or compensation offered. I'm just so pleased that it wasn't my kids that got cut! Additionally, the handle that holds the grill only fixes to a corner of the grill pan, which I don't believe can be secure and I don't want to risk dropping the grill pan on my foot! I prefer the ones that fix to the centre of the rim of a grill pan. So I will not be using it until the replacement arrives and I'm sure it's more secure. Alternatively I may buy a more secure and better finished grill pan, which will be an additional expense that I didn't bargain for. I hope they put in place better quality control for their accessories. Bearing in mind that my issues are with the manufacturing of the grill pan (which is replaceable) and has nothing to do with ao, I have to say that the service and speed of delivery was excellent!!

Looks great . Working well so far You may need to budget for additional cost of fitting, I needed to up power supply to 32amps and have professional gas fitter in - total cost of installing was £215 Very expensive product overall - hopefully will last

    Very Good Value for Money

    4/5
I have replaced my old Belling range, after 8 years constant use with the Farmhouse 100DF. There are some really positive improvements compared to the old model. The gas hob is much more solid and the burner knobs so far seem a far better quality. The burners have much better control in terms of flame control. On the down side, unfortunately the ovens still heat unevenly, which does not give me perfect bread baking results. (Left oven better than right, as with the older models). Overall I am very pleased and it is by far the best range for the price bracket.

If you don't have a £20,000 budget, this'll do. Usual fragile knobs with reflective bezels that make temps. hard to read on the ones for ovens. AO had a supply issue with Belling but were very good about it.
