    A fantastic dishwasher

    5/5
I am very impressed with my new AEG 6000 satellite Clean dishwasher. For a quick wash the 30 minute cycle left all my dishes sparkling clean and the eco clean is great for late evening washes as it’s so quiet, energy efficient and all the dishes perfectly clean for the morning. Can’t fault it so far. Would definitely recommend. Very sleek and stylish too.

    Very noisy!!

This is the noisiest machine I have ever owned. When I was on the phone buying it I questioned the noise level at 40 and was told that was unbelievably quiet they are usually 80+ Our kitchen is our living room but we cant have it on where were in there as its too loud so tried at night and had to get up to turn it off as it was keeping us awake! Cleans well though - if you can get over the noise!

An amazing machine. Cleans, deodorises and dries efficiently. Glassware never looked so clean. Easy to use buttons, easy to fill compartments. And very quiet.

    Excellance

    5/5
I absolutely love this machine. It is amazing. My old one was basic but this one gives so many options. I love the little red nodules that support the wine glasses and prevent that glass flipped - dirty water puddle that you sometimes get with other machines. The internal aspects are very smart and the cutlery basket is so easy and portable to use. As an older disabled lady I have found the shelves slide out so easily, the set up is very accessible and the buttons are easily responsive to touch. The machine runs quietly and not disruptive. The water softening measures are brilliant and can mean the machine runs economically reducing unneccesary chemicals at the same time keeping the great standard of cleaning. The instruction and diagrams are clear, easy to understand and very thorough. I would whole heartedly say that the machine is excellent value for money. In this busy world we live in ease of use and efficient cleaning is a must and this machine excels in that.

    WORKS WONDERS

    5/5
I am so happy with this dishwasher I can't explain. As a family of five I find it time saving using this dishwasher because of how efficient it is. It was very easy to set up and use and the dishes that were washed came out very clean. It has many features but my favourite feature on the dishwasher is the Airdry system because of how it dried my dishes very quickly and left them with no water. It came with a lot of space which lets me wash more plates and bowls at the same time. I absoloutly love this dishwasher and I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Great Drying, Cleaning OK, Let down by basket design.

Set up was made difficult by short hoses and a box at the end of the water input, which meant it couldn’t go through the existing hole in the cupboard. Look is attractive and sleek in a stainless steel finish with push buttons and electronic display. It is pleasantly quiet in operation. The manual helpfully lists the water and energy consumption and duration of each mode, so you can make an informed choice about which setting to use. The eco mode is a hefty four hours, although the last 90 minutes of the cycle is drying with the door open, so you could retrieve items during this time. The door automatically opening during the drying cycle is an excellent feature. It is great to be able to put everything away straight away without needing a tea towel in hand! My go to setting when the eco setting would take too long is 60 minutes. This doesn’t include any drying time so you need to leave it for at least 30 minutes for the cutlery and crockery to be dry enough to put away, and longer for plastic to dry. Sometimes cleaning is less than adequate so it hasn’t lived up to my initial expectations. I have had to handwash a wok that came out still with black deposits from frying. A few flakes remained in a porridge bowl. Several glasses were caked in dirt from not being rinsed properly. The big let down for me is the design of the baskets, which don’t offer flexibility or ease of use. The upper basket is very easy to height adjust by lifting up. I always have it on the higher setting, otherwise I can’t fit my dinner plates (27cm diameter) in below. As it is only attached at the back it frequently gets stuck pushing it back in. I make regular use of the fold down racks, for plastic pots. Annoyingly there is only a small lip to stop items falling off the side out of the dishwasher. The cutlery tray takes up a lot of room. Only one of the back rows for plates can be lowered. The space isn’t big enough for a large saucepan without resting the handle on the cutlery tray. The biggest downside is the number of large plates you can fit in. Although the dishwasher technically holds 13 place settings in reality I can never fit more than 9 large plates. The front space can’t be used as it’s in the way of the small plate spaces. The only place for chopping boards and baking trays to go is at the back. The plate spikes are all the same narrow spacing; wider spacing on some of them would be useful to enable shallow bowls to be inserted without falling into each other.
