Much better than getting out the rubber gloves

    5/5
It took a while to install, as I think there must have been a kink in the feed hose, and water wasn't getting through. After a bit of jiggling, I got it sorted. The machine itself doesn't have a cutlery basket, so there is more space in the bottom basket. The cutlery has a dedicated basket right at the top, and everything is held separately in place so washed more efficiently. There are more spray arms than my old machine, so the water is spread effectively around the inside. I've only run the 60 min cycle so far (after the initial cleaning cycle), and it's very good, even on food which has dried over as much as five days. I'll try the 30 min cycle to see how that performs, although the energy and water required for the 30 and 60 min cycles is very similar so there may not be much advantage.

    Quality AEG product

This dishwasher ouses quality, it has a real stainless steel front not like the gray ones and is very pleasing on the eye. The dishwasher is very quiet and has a lovely cutlery tray at the top, the dishes come out sparkling.

Very pleased and a great price for an AEG dishwasher. Very good communication from ordering to delivery. Not had service like that in a long time. Will definitely use again for our fridge.

    AEG Dishwasher

Awesome AEG dishwasher, such a clever use of space, super silent and looks fabulous. The three tiers are perfectly spaced and our dishes and glasses now come out shinier than ever.

    Nice, except for Drying.

    4/5
We bought the AEG 7000 to replace an eight year old Bosch. We wanted a slimline stainless steel model to go with our kitchen and the AEG fitted the bill. The AO price offer was great, as was the delivery and removal of the old washer (why are the delivery guys always so cheerful ?) In fact the entire AO experience was, as usual, excellent. The machine itself is well built, quiet and cleans brilliantly. I'm not entirely convinced by the cutlery tray. I don't think it has the same capacity as a basket and at the end of a cycle it drips on the dishes etc. below. This brings us to the main criticism. It doesn't dry as well as our previous washer. I think this might be due to the 'door opening' feature, which is meant to help drying but is probably designed to help the AEG's low energy rating. I'm going to disable this feature to see if it helps. A good piece of kit.8/10

    Would buy again

Love the special tray for cutlery rather than a basket, meaning that they come out clean rather than attached to each other. The dishwasher runs almost silent, making it a joy to have on while watching tv in an adjacent room. The waste hose is long at 1.5m and is just long enough to connect to my waste. I actually bought it to replace my very inefficient dishwasher (the husband) and its definitely a lot better than that, it is better than our previous machine which died 6 months ago. The automatic opening door to finish the dry cycle is taking some getting used to.
