Very well built freezer. When turning on unit for the 1st time, remember to use the fast freeze option. Remember to turn it off though! Ours was left on fast freeze overnight, approx 18 hours, and the freezer temp was showing MINUS 31°C! Normally it should be minus 18°c, which is still a lot, lot, colder than our old freezer. If the unit has a fault, then it's only having 3 drawers instead of 4. Capacity is much better though. The major failing for us, was that although this freezer was the exact same size as our old freezer, this one stuck out 3 inches more. The freezer sizes were correct, it was the plug that caused the problem. It is a German plug, overfitted with a UK adaptor unit. The plug sticks out 3 inches from the socket, causing our issue. We have an old house where the sockets are hidden behind the purchased item. You would be best to set the child lock, whether you have them or not. This will prevent accidentally turning the freezer off. Having an audible alarm is good, but it is not that loud at all.

A surprisingly spacious under counter freezer. Quiet to run, easy to install and with the added bonus of a door alarm and digital temperature display. Spacers are clipped on to the back which add c3.5cm to the overall depth. They are needed to maximise energy efficiency but can be left off. As other reviews have stated the plug is rather large so be wary if you have limited space where the socket is.

Love the freezer, good quality but do check the dimensions properly. If socket you want to plug into is behind the freezer it may not fit under the worktop. We have removed the large European plug and the skirting board behind the machine. Now plugged in using a normal plug and in a different socket to that intended. Despite all the faff trying to make it fit, I am pleased with my purchase.

Fantastic freezer and love that it holds more capacity than others for an under counter freezer. Looks lovely next to the matching fridge!

Only had it about 2 weeks but very pleased so far. Roomy drawers so ample storage. Low noise level considering it's Frost free

This was for my mother in law who is in her 80s and is the sole carer for her registered blind husband. So life is pretty tough for them both. So having a frost free freezer was necessity rather than a luxury. We took them to a well known shop so they could have a look for one. There were plenty of freezers but only one frost free and the service was appalling so we walked out of there. On arriving home we looked on AO.com and found this freezer. Although we had no contact with customer service before purchase we felt a lot more looked after than we had done at the shop, because the website was so easy to use and all our questions were answered in the information provided. We were able to order the freezer and choose the day we wanted it delivered and opt to have the fitting of the new freezer and the removal of the old one. The delivery driver was extremely professional and friendly. I would highly recommend not only the product but the company as well.
