My wife is ecstatic with this tumble dryer, always like Hotpoint and this one is so simple to operate and it dries everything perfectly and quickly

Love it! I turn the dial and press the button and it dries the washing. No need for anything more complicated. It has a good big drum with reverse action so everything dries quickly without getting in to a tangled ball. Job done.

I love this tumble dryer which is almost identical to the one it replaced which also served me well. It's ideal on a rainy day when I can dry a small cotton load in under 30 mins though towels take a bit longer. It is simple to use. I put the clothes in, pick a time and press start. I ignored the timing suggestions and used my own judgement depending on volume. I am disappointed that these vented ones are actually going to be phased out. In my opinion it is best to have all the dampness vented to the outside. I was worried about condensation as it is installed in a small room. I understand this style may not be as energy efficient but at the end of the day I want to be able to wash and dry in as short a time as possible so I can get on with the ironing. Note you need to be careful when fitting it into a confined space. The aluminium ducting is excellent quality but very stiff and so you need to pull it apart as little as possible and just enough to allow you to get in to attach it at both ends. That's the hardest bit. If you stretch it too far it will not concertina or spring back small like the original plastic ducts and you may find you can't push the dryer as far back under the worktop as you want to as there is surplus ducting. Hope this helps future buyers. Hotpoint please don't discontinue these vented dryers.

Really good easy to use dryer.

I purchased this item to replace an older machine which was squeaking like mad. I have used the item as the weather has been bad and when you need work washed you need to get them dry. Itis quiet and very easy to use. I would recommend this item if you wanted a vented machine.

Chose a great dryer that works perfectly. So many to choose from you never know but I wanted a pretty simple one and that's what this is. Press on and it gets to work. I used ao again because everything always goes so smoothly, from ordering to delivering. They were friendly and helpful and were in and out, no fuss. Will use again and will also recommend. Very happy with the product. Fitting wasnt straight forward as other people have also found. We ended up having to buy a plastic hose to fit on as the metal one provided didnt fit our existing vent . Otherwise all good. Very quiet compared to last machine, and very simple straight forward controls, no need for bells and whistles with a drier,does what it says on the box!
