Cooks more evenly than our old Bosch. It has a fast heat function on the dial, which means you have to keep an eye on it and switch it over to the function you want and let it settle before you can use it. If you put food in to soon after switching over, the top burns almost instantly. Our previous oven had a fast heat button to press and it heated, then as soon as it got to temperature, it switched to the function you selected on the dial automatically, which was better. Also the timer is harder to set. Plus the temperature and timer beep is so quiet. So we have to use a different a different timer so we can't hear it if anything else is happening on the room (we're in our 30s, and not hard of hearing). The hydra clean function works quite well though I kind of wish I'd just spent the extra money on the pyro cleaning one.

Quite disappointed with this oven primarily because of the control panel. The picture I saw along with the high price tag when I decided on this particular one gave me the impression that the large digital display panel held the same information as my current one. I have this positioned under worktop meaning I have to crouch down to select temp and oven selection as nothing but the clock is displayed. The push in dials also feel very cheap. Love the split oven trays which goes some way to making up for the issues I have.

Nice oven but I didn't expect plastic buttons on a such expensive oven.

A little disapointed with the controls on this appliance as its difficult to see the settings as the control knob and backround are both black and theres only an indetation on the knob rather than a coloured line. Also the off is at the top so when selecting a temperature the numbers are at the bottom which is difficult to see as it's under the counter. The temperature indicator is confusing as it's not clear if the oven is up to temperature as the indicator keeps coming back on. The clock is 70's LED Red and always on which is annoying as we were used to a display that you could switch off. Only used it once since purchase and it cooked OK.

Very nice looking oven, only been installed 5 days but seems to work ok except for a very noisy fan. I'll contact Bosch directly as suggested and hope something can be done as it really drums! Other slight observation is that the dials are not lit and quite difficult to read when setting the function and temperature but I guess I'll get used to it or keep a torch handy

I chose this oven specifically because of 2 features, which didn't turn out to be as good as expected: the self-cleaning internal surfaces are actually just one surface, i.e. the back panel; the 3D Hot Air system is not distributing the heat evenly, as the edges (particularly the right one) of large trays of food cook more quickly than the centre. This is particularly disappointing, as it was one of the issues with our old oven. Also, although there is a timer, there isn't a function to keep track of how long the food has been cooking for, which I would prefer when cooking something for an unknown length of time. And the different temperatures on the front panel are a bit difficult to read. On the positive side, the oven, including the controls, looks sturdy, well built and not over-reliant on electronics, which is what caused the early demise of our previous appliance.

Is ok but was surprised to see was a plug led not usual oven connection

I have always had Bosch ovens and hobs. Not impressed as the dials were as hard to read as my old oven. Half shelves a good ideA so are the roasting trays but not that impressive. I like that the knobs pushed not worth the extra money I paid rather than getting the model before.
