Good hob, oven only has one shelf and it’s £30 to get another. An additional attachment which is provided needs to be put in place every time the grill is used to stop knobs melting. This is an odd design feature. The shelves are quite difficult to remove your baking trays and I burnt myself a few times due to this. Overall I only got this cooker as it fits the kitchen, if I had the space for a better quality 60 cm width I would have done so.

This cooker is OK for the low price, if I had not been against a deadline to have a working kitchen in place I would probably have bought something better, but it would have required moving cupboards in the kitchen. As some other reviewers have noted there is a metal guard that you have to put on when grilling so that you don't melt the plastic knobs on the front it. The guard sticks out and heats up. There is also only one oven shelf which seems a bit tight. I bought this because it was the only gas cooker of this width I could find.

Good value product, excellent safety features and works very well. Installed without issues, but delivered 1 shelf less than should have, contacted AO who advised will arrange another shelf to be delivered.

the cooker works well but to cook with variation you need to have 2 shelves in the oven not 1 as supplied.

Ideal for what we need good service from the staff and delivery men

The cooker has been much needed after moving home, the cut out feature gives peace of mind. Oven cooks the food evenly, didn't realise how old my previous one was until I got this one.

Overall pleased with the solid build and appearance. Hob lights easily and nice to have different size rings for different pans to be efficient; my kettle fits perfectly on the back rings. Haven’t baked much as it is mid-summer, but oven chips and a frozen flan took the time specified on the packs, so it seems the oven temperature is true to the gas mark. It only comes with one oven rack; you can buy another online direct from hotpoint for (currently) 40 quid. (part J00119109) - add that into your budget. (Would be nice if offered as an option(hint)). You are supposed to slide in a metal shield to stop the knobs melting when the grill is on; in practice I don’t bother if only doing a bit of toast, but would use it if on for longer, say for chops. Be careful, it gets hot. Feet don’t have much adjustment, but enough to cope with my 80-year-old floorboards, so very stable.

NICE LOOKING COOKER, COOKS WELL BETTER THAN MY OLD ONE. OVERALL I AM PLEASED WITH THE COOKER EXCEPT IT ONLY HAS 1 SHELF WHICH IS SO INPRACTICAL SO HAD TO GET ANOTHER SHELF. I NEVER READ THE SMALL PRINT SO ASSUMED IT HAD 2 SHELVES.
