The cooker seems fine, but obviously more than a tad early to ask for a review.

Looks nice, modern for freestanding cooker, easy to clean, good safety features

So pleased with the finish and safety features of this cooker . Glass lid helps keep the top clean , if you close it accidentally the gas cuts out on the hob . The controls took a bit of getting used to as you push in and turn while pressing ignition but keep pushing the control in after releasing ignition to make sure the flame stays alight. Overall a great cooker from Hotpoint . Purchased this cooker after my range sized one developed a fault , but as it was 25 years old decided to buy a new one rather than mess about trying to sort it . Hopefully this one will last for 25 years or longer .

Extremely pleased with the new cooker. Heat distribution appears to be excellent. So far have only cooked one or two meals, but a full Sunday roast today was cooked perfectly. If there is one criticism l have it is the absence of a light in the top oven. I had one in my previous cooker and it is such a useful feature. Have only rated this four stars because of this,otherwise l would have given it full marks.

Overall, I'm really happy with this oven. Large capacity, looks great, feels solid/well built and wok feature is ideal, not just for woks but also large frying pans. If I had to pick something I didn't like it would be the fan feature that's on the top part of the oven, it blasts hot air out the front. Great on a winters day but I'm dreading a hot summer evening. Using the lower oven doesn't activate the fan though.

Sadly glass lid did not close flat as it should. Replacement was offered immediately by ao who provide excellent customer service. Unfortunately the replacement of same model had the same issue so returned. What I would say besides the glass top not fitting as it should, you have to install the metal side panels into oven/grill yourself to beable to put metal shelves in which I found a struggle as instructions not clear, also I didnt find the cooker particularly sturdy or top gas rings of strong quality. I upgraded to a more expensive aeg cooker which I'm really pleased with quality from ao but it was an inconvenience of personsal time and fitting & unfitting.

Not to sure yet but looking good so far , just a few design faults you don’t need three different gas rings you just need two large two medium you don’t need a lid they are nothing but a pain , my last Hotpoint cooker lasted over 20 plus years it had auto cut out when gas went out , didn’t have a lid it was more aestheticlly appealing . Hopefully this one last just as long .

Looks fantastic. Works very well. Easy to use and meets my needs.
