We had a Hotpoint dual fuel oven previously and were very pleased with it so we decided to get this Hotpoint as a replacement when the main oven element went after many years of use. The new oven has a slightly bigger depth which means it juts out a tiny bit against our units but this isnt an issue. The glass top is only propped up by two rubber spacers at the front, unlike the previous oven where the top was supported along each side when closed; this means that we are reluctant to put anything on the top when closed (as indicated in the booklet).

Hotpoint good reputation finer job guards than I would like

I had an older version of this cooker - was happy with it. So when it was time for a new one, brought same one in stainless steel. Very modern, love different size gas burners for wok, simmering, saucepans etc. Above all love the self clean sides. Overall - very impressed !

The best cooker I have ever owned.

When you put moist food in the oven the steam Comes out and makes the hob wet which is not ideal, bearing this is in mind the heat is powerfull and the food cooks quickly

Overall fantastic cooker. Very powerful and efficient. Only thing that took some getting used to was the steam that comes out of the top when using the fan oven. Never experienced this before. Could do with being mentioned in the specs

Lots of steam comes out the back vent when cooking certain dishes. I have never seen this before in a cooker!! I'd understand a little steam but it's like a kettle boiling.

It's easy to use and keep clean, I'm enjoying my new cooker.
