Worked as intended until it broke down a few weeks before its one-year warranty was up. Took two weeks for an engineer to come out. He said it needed a spare part and said Hotpoint would be in touch to arrange delivery and repair. One month later, they keep sending messages saying the part is not in stock and they will be in touch when it is. Hotpoint customer service is completely useless and can't tell me when the part will be in stock. Despite this product being within its one-year warranty period and having paid extra for the additional insurance policy for the last year, the dishwasher has been broken for more than six weeks Hotpoint won't repair or replace it. Since it broke within the warranty period, the insurance company won't pay out for a replacement, making the policy absolutely worthless.

Delighted with my new dishwasher, quick wash for completed in 30 minutes. Very impressed the the drying, dishes pots and pans come out gleaming. All topped up with a fast and professional service from AO. Kept me updated from the minute the order was placed.

Washing is excellent so far, dried on plates and glasses come out sparkling. Instructions to fit the door okay, could be better, pictures only. Runs very quietly too. Opening the door at the completion of the wash cycle is a nice feature. Extra wide spaces in racks for plates with a lip also useful. As a dishwasher there is nothing not to like, the only off putting feature is it’s efficiency rating although not noticed any significant cost increase using the dishwasher.

This Hotpoint dishwasher replaces a Bosch. I would say the build quality is not as good and aligning it took time. The installation notes could have been better, sometimes words are better than pictures. The door fixing kit is very basic and after a second batch of holes drilled, seems now to be sturdy enough. Having used the dishwasher for a week or so, it has cleaned everything really well. It only took a couple of times to remember how to programme, so it is not complicated. It is great that the door opens automatically once the programme decides the contents are dry and cool enough to be removed. There is plenty of scope for filling the dishwasher and it is great that the cutlery basket can be moved anywhere along the front of the bottom tray.

Kept informed regarding delivery and arrived on time. Only been a couple of weeks but cleans very well and quieter than previous old Bosch one. Cooling feature that opens door at end of cycle is good but requires hear resistant strip on underside of worktop which wasn’t supplied.

Very pleased with the dishwasher and service. Would reccommend.

Very happy so far, extremely quiet and dishes come out sparkling. Good space inside and easy to use. Some reviews mention not enough height in the bottom part, but the top rack is adjustable so you can easily sort this out! We did have a panic that our plates were too big at first, but you just need to make this adjustment.

Normal sized plates do not fit in the bottom without hitting the water blade that spins. Top draw also is a bit odd in that it doesn't fit normal size glasses well either. We also used their fully fitted service where they damaged our work top and cupboards. Overall not happy at all.
