Ceramic better than induction.
5/5
We were looking for a 5 ring hob, with a hot plate.
Haven’t got gas, so ceramic or induction? Well, if you research carefully (ie get beyond the easy but wrong assumption that induction is always cheaper to run) you find that in balance, ceramic compares favourably as a lifetime cost. (Take into account initial cost, new iron pots, induction more expensive for short heating times.)
Next, which ceramic hob? Well, it’s worth paying a bit more for a reliable brand with decent features and backup.
In my opinion, this model Beko is the bast balance for featured, cost and reliability.
