Bought this to use while my cooker was out of action and I'm really impressed with it. Heats up and cooks things much quicker than my conventional electric hob and is really simple to use. My next hob will be an induction and in the meantime I can see myself continuing to use this from time to time.

Fantastic little hob that is well worth the money. Ideal if extra cooking capacity is needed this item is absolutely perfect for everyday cooking. And the beauty of it is, you can shove it in a cupboard once done. Try doing that with your cooker......!!

The product its self would get 5stars. The reason I dropped 2 stars was the package it came in was soaking wet and damaged.

Very handy for when you need to cook between the period of not having and having a standalone cooker.

Perfect for something like a Chinese steamboat or a fondue. Very portable and compact and well made. It's lightweight. The power cord could be abit longer but we have plenty of extension cables. It is extremely easy to use. Very happy with the purchase.

Purchased this to replace another hob which has started to lose it's efficiency. [" not a Tefal machine."] We have another Tefal hob and have to say this is the easiest hob to use we have ever owned.

My family and I have recently moved and are camping out in a kitchen that has no working oven or stove top. I purchased this hob to go along with another of the same brand and model to give us more flexibility when we cook. I have had no trouble with either, the first which I have had for over a year, and the second which I brought recently. I am intending to use as a portable stove for outdoor cooking once my renovation is finished. As a roundup, I really like this product, it does exactly what you want it to do, and is simple to use (although I have stuck to manual mode). I chose this, the older model, over the new version as I have been happy with my original and the reviews of the newer lightweight model do not get as good reviews.
