Very heavy when lifting and takes a long time to reach boiling point, very expensive for what it is.

It's easy to use and has a good look. However, the water level indicator is in perhaps the worst place they could have put it as it's obscured by the handle - which is my only criticism.

a bit smaller and chunkier / heavier than i thought was going to be but looks great , ! the AO service is amazing

I love the look of this kettle.its very stylish and doesn’t take long to boil great product the only thing I wish was different was a black lead and plug to match the kettle as the lead and plug are grey

Lovely looking kettle, looks great in our kitchen. Holds a good amount of water and boils quickly. Knocked one star off for the lid opening feature as it can be temperamental. The delivery was super fast from ao so they get 5 stars from me.

I like the product however the base and handle are plastic thought they were stainless steel like other kettles it looks great in my kitchen

Again I’ve rushed into purchasing, then read some reviews afterwards, which was quite off putting I did think about sending the item back but then open the box and see I could register for a guarantee with Smeg direct on their website which was quite good as that was my worry. I couldn’t pay Ao for extra protection. Kettle seems quite small but then maybe I had a larger one last time but put off by the fact it’s a grey wire and a grey lead and plug with the black kettle but doesn’t look too bad once on the side and in place! I have only given the item 4 stars due to the size and the grey plug and wire. I don’t really use the kettle very much. I have really only purchased to look nice on my side and that it does!

Boils quickly works superbly. The reason I gave it a 4 was the lid sometimes sticks and will not open on first press.
