As a keen baker, I had always wanted a stand mixer and when I received this, I was absolutely over the moon. It's sturdy beyond belief, classy beyond compare and matches perfectly with my kitchen. I had hoped for something good, but got something absolutely brilliant. It's really easy to use and straightforward to clean. I couldn't recommend this product more highly. I might even have to buy my mum one for Christmas at this price too!

Purchased this mixer primarily for making bread and I have to say it is great: quiet, sturdy, mixes the dough easily and does not struggle, very good quality and looks fabulous. Have not yet used this mixer to make cake mixes or meringues but I'm confident it will handle these efficiently.The only minor niggle would be I struggle a little removing the glass bowl but that just could be user error. I would recommend this mixer and I'm now going to purchase the matching kettle.

Oh, how excited I was with my ao delivery! For a start, the box was so big and I fully expected it to be mostly packaging but no, as I slowly uncovered the treasure inside I revealed the most pleasing thing to eyes in a long time. I needed help to extract this most beautiful machine from the box which then became the centre of attention on our coffee table and was accompanied by sounds of admiration from all the family. I have never owned a mixer this grand before and was therefore very excited to use it for the first time. It was very easy to use and was much less noisy than I expected. I made a ginger, date and sultana cake (one I have made many times with my little hand mixer) and I have to say that watching my lovely KMIX do it’s work was a joy but tasting the finished cake was a delight; I couldn’t believe how much better the cake was from my previous ones. I am very pleased to recommend the Kenwood KMIX It looks amazing and is amazing.

Excellent machine at a good price. Motor is more powerful than some more expensive mixers. A good selection of attachments supplied with the mixer and even more as 'extras'. And it looks good.

This mixer is so controllable from a slow fold to the speed needed for whipping. Never seems to be under pressure. Build quality is excellent and will last for years. Plenty of attachments available to bring a versatility to food preparation.

What a wonderful machine, made bread for fist time in years! So easy and no mess! Really solid bit of kit, if you a thinking about getting one; just do it! Originally was going to have stainless steel bowl, but the glass bowl is actually better as you can see your mix. Brilliant!

This is the first stand mixer I have ever had. Used to uses hand held mixer I got rid of after kitchen refit. I have only used it once to make a cake and was very pleased with the results. I am looking forward to using it to make bigger batches of dough than I could do with my old mixer and am ver pleased with my purchase especially when I got it at reduced price!

I will be making my daughter's wedding cake and took the opportunity to treat myself to a Kenwood. The speeds are great as is the very powerful 1000 w motor. I love the beater which gets at all the mixture and the capacity is great. I can mix a 9 egg sponge in one go.It is very heavy but I am fine with this as it lives on my worktop and doesn’t ‘walk’ when you use it. I haven’t used the dough hook yet but it looks substantial. The only potential downside is the breakable glass bowl. It would be good if a metal bowl were available as an alternative, especially for egg whites. Very pleased.
