    Easy use microwave

    5/5
I looked long and hard for a suitable easy to use microwave, with enough features and room. A great many were either too expensive or looked really ugly. Then I found this Samsung from AO and all my boxes were ticked. It's eco friendly yet powerful enough to cope and looks really good, combine this with AO's brilliant service made this choice really easy.

    Disappointed

    2/5
Bought this to replace a 15 year old Panasonic which had been superb in every way. Was persuaded to buy this by good reviews and because it is (a) black and (b) takes up slightly less space. Otherwise it is a huge disappointment. Controls complicated and not at all intuitive. Cannot see at all what is going on inside due to heavily tinted door/dim light bulb. Veg frequently overcooked - the automatic settings are only of use if you are feeding 4 or more people, not 1 or 2. Defrost settings absurd - it indicated my chicken portions would be defrosted in 2 mins with a standing time of 1 hour! After 3 months, still having to refer to instruction book for everything. Back to Panasonic!

    Complicated controls

Had it a few months now and don't like it. You had to input food weights into my past microwaves but this just has default settings. It has a brief guide just inside the door but you need a magnifying glass to read it. Got fed up with it and just tend to stick everything on the baked potato setting. Perhaps it's me being a poor cook. And as others have said, the interior light is pointless as you can't see thru the door.

    It looks the part

I bought this Samsung microwave oven in March. It looks great and easy to work if you’re a rocket scientist! The basic features are fine, which is all I need really so I’m pleased with it. However if you want to use everything be prepared to read all the manual and keep it to hand to keep referring to.

I love this microwave as it's easy to use and has loads of features with it. Heats up everyday items in minutes and so efficient! Not got around to using the grill yet but I'm sure it will be fantastic

    Gadgets

    4/5
If you look in your kitchen utensil drawer and you have lots of gadgets, that only occasionally see the light of day, you are probably going to warm to this microwave cooker, as it’s one of those purchases that you will only ever use to its full potential from time to time. On a plus side you could pay less, but you wouldn’t be getting all of the features that come with this one. For example, six power settings (from 100 – 800 watts), 40 programmes and a grill. My last microwave was a Samsung and served me well for over seven years, and I only parted company with it because the paint inside was flaking, so I’m hoping that the ceramic coating on this one will last longer. It has a 23 litre capacity and a turn table. I was surprised to see that some microwaves don’t have one and I can’t imagine why? Well having sung the praises, here are a few down sides; you aren’t going to see much through the window in the door, as the tint is too dark. The control buttons are small and you will probably strain your eyes reading them, so if you have sight problems you are definitely going to need your glasses. The grill will obstruct cleaning the top of the inside, which isn't impossible, just awkward. So, if you have a drawer full of gadgets, buy this micro wave, you can even do toast in it!

    Beautiful but lightweight

    4/5
So far I can only criticise it on two points: the light while running is very dim (you absolutely cannot see inside while it's on), and the door feels a bit lightweight and plasticky. I like things to feel solid and well-made. The microwave might be well made, but it doesn't feel it.
