    Happy shopper

    5/5
Really happy with my purchase so far, fits a good size load and leaves my clothes smelling fresh, controls are intuitive and the washing machine runs pretty quietly. I haven't used the drier yet as the weather has been nice and I prefer to air dry my clothes for longevity when the weather is nice but I'm sure it will work okay.

    Love my new washer dryer!

    5/5
I’ve had it a couple of weeks now and I really like it. Washes and dries well, although I’ve not used the drier very much. My sheets came out very creased after using the bed and towels wash and dry setting, but there is an option for decreasing, I just didn’t use it. It’s so quiet I can run it over night and not wake my neighbours in my block of flats!

Used only three times so far but quite happy with it. Simple to use, quiet. Surprised "Eco" wash takes 3 1/2 hours.

    Good features

    4/5
Purchased to replace another machine by the same brand after 10 years of solid service. Went for the washer dryer combo to save space. Great machine with some really good features/functions from a brand I know and trust. Quiet and efficient. Time will tell how it lasts hopefully it matches its predecessor.

    Excellent product with great features

    5/5
Really good washer/dryer. Takes a good size load and even though the xl wash and dry for bed and bath is a long cycle I set to run overnight using the delay facility and wake up to soft, fluffy dry towels ! Rapid wash is excellent and no need for an additional spin like my previous machine. Steam function is excellent for releasing creases and love the ability to add extra to the load (like the odd sock or T-shirt you’ve dropped on the way down the stairs or that extra piece of PE kit that was forgotten!). The dials and functions are easy to understand and the QR code for additional info is very helpful.

OK machine when you get used to it's strange little ways.

    4/5
Does it's job when you finally get used to its little ways. For example, it will convince you it's faulty if you use the drying only cycle. It will spend the first 30 plus minutes of the cycle filling, draining, twisting the drum with the occasional spin thrown in before finally getting on with the cycle! Wash cycles are fairly long for example, Synthetics 2:55, Cottons 3:55. Add the drying cycle and it takes cottons up to 9:35 to wash and dry. To be fair there is a rapid option but that shortens the cycle - perhaps just a bit too much? - and is only available on some cycles for example Synthetics but not Cottons. The instructions are abysmal. 1 sheet of double sided printed A4 paper which I'm sure meant something to the design engineers but leaves us lesser humans scratching our heads and interpolating as to which is the best program for our needs. I believe Hotpoint are not alone in adopting this format. No explanation is given regarding the individual cycles other than time, temperature range, spin speed and drying availability. All in the form of a spreadsheet type layout too. It is very sensitive to off balance loads, for example, it refused to spin a single (heavyish) bath mat, leaving it wringing wet. It did the same with a load of towels and yet it managed to balance this load and spin successfully when set to 'spin only'! Can you imagine if I'd set it to go into cupboard dry mode. On the plus side, it's stylish with it's large door for easy access. There is an excellent display and probably most importantly it seems to use less energy than our previous Hotpoint. All in all it's OK, takes some getting used to and does the job fairly economically. Would I recommend it? Ask me in six months time.

    Great Product!

The washing machine looks smart and modern. It has lots of setting to choose from and on a lot of them you can choose the temperature. I've not used the dryer yet. It runs quietly and overall I'm really pleased with it.
