    Well worth the money

    5/5
This is simply a superb piece of engineering. It looks fantastic, the finish is superb and is very pleasing on the eye. More importantly, the controls are clear and easy to use, and the response time when you alter the heat settings is instant. I have never had an induction cooker before, but now I can never go back. The ovens are also fantastic. The shelf being attached to the door of the main oven means that you do t have to risk burning yourself when trying to get the food out. It swings out for you- so simple and yet so clever. Very happy person here.

Great range cooker with induction hob

    5/5
I choose this cooker because of the simplicity in using the controls. It is both stylish and efficient to use and fits in with our kitchen deco. I haven't used all the functions yet but will do soon. Delighted with purchase.

Amazing Cooker - Induction is excellent

    5/5
This not only looks amazing in the slate grey matt finish, but performance wise its out of this world. This is the first time buying/using an induction hob, but I am really impressed. It is very good at heating the pans quickly and easy to control the level of the heat,(like gas but without the issues and cost) instantly responsive, with some preset settings for simmering and bringing things to the boil. The multifunction oven is very useful for achieving different cooking, dependant upon what you are making, and having the separate fan oven to the side enables you to then do something else when needs. The separate grill again giving the ability to not have to use the main lower oven (although this can also grill also) is powerful and the sliding tray makes it easy and safe to use. The main oven is large and the addition of the door mounted(removable) roasting tray is useful. This is multifunction oven, and can do everything from conventional oven to defrosting to full on fan assisted. The side fan oven is very tall, although not that wide, so some baking trays/roasting trays wont fit - but standard rectangle ones will. it includes a plate warmer rack which is useful. While not cheap, the build quality shows - so not only a very nice looking addition to the Kitchen, its performance is great. The 90cm wide version is what we chose - and was undecided over the 110cm - which has a slightly different layout - however considering the extra worktop space this now gives, and actually the size and space the oven gives even at this smaller size it was the right decision.

    Underwhelmed.

    3/5
It's OK. Having read all the rave reviews prior to purchase I was expecting great things but now, having owned it for 3 months, I would say that I am underwhelmed. It looks good in chrome and it feels sturdy and well built. The shelf on the main oven door is useful and I like the chunky dials. However, the hob is 'all or nothing'. Heat settings 1-8 do virtually nothing and then 9 is nuclear. When using the main oven, steam pours up through the back grill in the left corner. We thought it would stop after a few sessions but it hasn't. The most frustrating part of owning this oven is the grill. The shelf is on a fixed slider and it means that the food is incredibly close to the filaments. Even if you turn the tray inside the shelf upside-down, it makes little difference. Grilling anything thicker than a sausage is just a no-go and I suspect that burned fat build-up on the filaments will be a problem in the future. There's only 3 heat settings too so it's hard to get it right and you have to constantly pull the shelf out to check the food items are not burned. Maybe I'll get used to this over time. Overall, it's mixed feedback. For £3K+ I was expecting to love it and I don't.

    disappointing choice

Ordered the Nexus after research. The first time we used it the door of the second oven opened during cooking . the magnetic lock was broken. Contacted manufacturer . Engineer came with replacement lock but incorrect part was supplied. 1 month after delivery we remain unable to use the cooker. . No idea from Rangemaster as to when this will be repaired..
