Quiet, efficient, easy to use controls.

Good value only downside is 30 wash only spins at 1000 spin speed

This is a nice looking machine. There are lots of cycles to choose from but I have a feeling I’ll only use a few. Most seem very long compared to my last washing machine and that surprised me given it’s A rated for energy efficiency. I normally use washing powder but unfortunately I’ve found that there is a lot left in the drawer at the end of the cycle so I will have to use a different type of detergent now which is a little frustrating. I’ve given 4 stars due to the length of the cycles but I don’t think that’s uncommon and the powder not rising away in n the drawer.

The machine is very easy to use .

The machine seems to be working well. The 9kg capacity, allows to put much more in the wash than the old machine As always seems to be the case, the wash programs are totally different from the old machine (also a Hotpoint) so it takes a bit of learning to find the best one for us. The instructions sheets do cover the necessary, but they are of a minimal format and do not exactly walk you through the options. There is a need to work things out for yourself. The instructions on how to remove the dispenser drawer provided were incorrect. Fortunately reference to a You Tube video provided the answer.
