    Thumbs up from me!

This is a really great combination (flatbed) microwave oven and, in just a week since taking delivery, is proving to be an exceptional purchase. The control panel is easy to use (even for an oldie like me); biscuits, sponge cakes, lasagna, casseroles, jacket potatoes, vegetables, cook to perfection. And Auto Sensor and Combination programmes are very useful. The instruction manual with a good selection of recipes is most helpful, and the microwave interior is as easy to keep clean as it states. Thoroughly recommended ??.

Bit early yet but nice solid bit of kit and size was good for a small kitchen.

    Brilliant

So far so good. It was just was I was looking for to replace my 40 yr old Belling. I like the fact that you cannot see the grill element, which means its easier to clean.

    Good but with some niggles

    4/5
It’s good but two very annoying features. Setting time is either hold button and goes too fast or press button and it goes up 10 seconds at a time. Then once cooking you can only add/remove 1 minute at a time. It’s batty. The other issue is even in low light it’s hard to see the buttons as they are flush touch screen buttons and they have no illumination. Also needs a button to turn off the main lights when door is open. Door needs to be left open to allow steam to escape so it’s stupid the lights have to remain on. In terms of cooking it’s a capable machine. The oven function is a bit weak compared to my oven so I find I have to add about 5 minutes to cooking times. The combi functions are useful but the organisation of the menus could be improved. The product excels at basic microwaving. In terms of just microwave ability this is better than my old built in Bosch combi microwave but for everything else the Bosch Series 8 wins hands down. This appears to be the best freestanding unit available but honestly I really miss the Bosch, just don’t have room for a built in appliance in new house.
