Great tv for the money delivered next day brilliant service again from AO

Good tv amazing picture and quality

Moving into a new house after a divorce, I decided to "treat" myself a bit, and go for a bigger, better TV. Not owned a 4K TV before this, so unable to compare, but the colours are sharp and vivid. Was worried not getting a soundbar might mean the sound was compromised, but this TV also packs a punch in that department too. I'm not particularly "techie" so thought I might struggle with the set up, but was smoother than I had feared, mostly using an app on my phone. Love having something that can give me as close to a cinema experience in my new house as I'm likely to get.

I have dyslexcia so dont spell to well but hey, poor spelling doesnt mean low inteligence! I will tell you about the tv but only after saying what was so wonderful about buying from AO, and its fantastic customer service, which I think beats others hand down. When our TV was deleverd we got it out the box and set it up. On turning it on there was a huge crack down the right hand side. As soon as we saw this we thought we would end up in a battle with ao, as sadly we have only ever found poor service with other comapanies once they have the sale. Well, ao beats those companies out the park! I rang and the chap at ao couldnt have been more helpful, and he had a replacement TV in our home the very next day! Wow! This is where ao go to the next level. The evening before our replacement TV came I had a bike crash and there was no way I could set the tv up due to injuring my arm. I rang ao to ask if the chaps bringing the tv would be able to set it up. I mentioned I was happy to pay but the lady at ao said not to worry, and that she would ring the 2 guys and ask. The 2 chaps said they would and they did. I offered them some money which they declined. They even declined a cup of tea and a bacon butty which is why I'm writting about the fantastic staff before the tv as all the staff I dealt with were wonderful ambassadors for ao who as a company should be proud. The TV - I was in 2 minds getting the 65 inch or staying at 50 but so glad we did. We sit 3.5 meters away which is just fine. Turning the tv on and going through the set up took a fair time but only because I want to get the very best out of all this tv has to offer, which if you look at the spec is a lot! This TV is fantastic for watching live sports which is our thing. It has a wide viweing angle to get the clan around, and what I really like is that it really does deal with the glare one gets in a well lit room, which was a problem with our Sony Brava. Now we were looking at OLED but when I saw this tv next to an OLED I struggled to see the diffrence which is because QLED have clearly improved on the issue of poor brightness - the picture is clear as clear can be! The other thing going for me here is that QLED will out live OLED! You have all the supported net services one would want such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Prime as well as XBOX Live! We also got Disney for 6 months free! It has Bluetooth and Wi Fi and connecting is a breeze and it comes with a free extended Samsung 5 year warrenty but dont try getting this via Samsung as for some reson Samsung doesnt acknowledge ao as one of thier suplires - just ring ao and they will register the tv for you! The sound is Dolby Atmos which is pretty impressive when comparing to our last TV. However, if you want to expirence that extra oomph as one gets at the movies, I would suggest, if you can, to purchase a Samsung sound bar. I say Samsung only because of the compatability but other bars ought to marry well. The kids love to game as do I and again this TV comes in as a winner. The picture quility and speed of this TV helps games run nice and smooth. Play with the lights off and its as if your in the car for real, or on the front line depending on the games you like to play. One also has Samsung Plus TV which comes with a good few channles that one would get on just freeview. The only thing with this is that you cant record programes. Lastly the remotes are wonderful. There are 2. One with a vast aray of buttons on and one, which is solar powered, that is as simple as 123 and the one we prefer to use. One also has Alexa which is useful. This TV is the best TV we have ever had and it would take some thing spiecial to turn me away!

A great television with top features and reasonably priced. It was available on next day delivery which was an absolute bonus. I tried to order online but had a question to ask and so phoned AO. They were extremely helpful, answered my question and took my order there and then making ordering hassle free.

Excellent image although game mode does flicker between contrast levels. The user interface is not as good as my previous LG. However the image is much sharper and film-maker mode is great for movie night.
