Pleased overall but beware no bread proving function!

    4/5
Happy overall. I had to replace my cooker at short notice after the very reliable Canon Hotpoint finally gave up. I decided to buy this Stoves cooker rather than a similar Belling one as I was attracted by the bread proving function but despite being advertised this model does not contain a bread proving function however the website still states that it does. The manufacturer did eventually tell me that the slow cooker function can be use for bread proving but they simply just don't tell you this so have wasted lots of time! Pleased overall with the cooker, it bakes well, looks great however the finish around the hot plate makes it difficult to clean above the knobs and the shelf racks in the grill fall off easily.

    Be wary

Bought this cooker in June 2021 to replace a Stoves one we had for 21years. The cooker itself looks great and is very efficient until the top oven door began to fall open with any slight touch. We didn’t buy an extended guarantee or Care plan due to our trust in the Stoves quality. Unfortunately we now have to pay out for what we deem as a manufacturing fault. Disappointed and annoyed that whilst paying a premium for quality, it’s no guarantee you will get it.

    Decent oven

Definitely happy with the quality of this product. The shelf and the grill pan on the top oven are bit hard to manoeuvre. But this is just a minor issue. Overall, I am impressed.

    Great all round!

After weeks of deliberations I decided to buy the Stoves Richmond dual fuel cooker as there was lots of good reviews and I liked that it was energy efficient. It was the best decision. I’ve tried a few recipes and the oven works as it should. No tweaking the time or temperature. The gas hob is great and easy to clean. I love the light in the oven so you can see what is cooking. The double oven is handy if cooking for extra people. The bright red colour of the cooker makes it a feature of the kitchen. No negative points yet! Delivery was on time and the courier was polite and friendly. Great service all round! Highly recommend!

Good looking cooker shame not perfect

Beautiful cooker, happy with it. But one of the burners doesn't work. Still waiting for an engineer to contact me. Its been over a week since eventually getting through on the phone to stoves helpline. Supposed to hear within 48 hours. Very expensive cooker, so disappointing.

We love the colour and the way the cover hinges up to protect the wall behind when you use the hob.
