The fridge has been faulty from day 1, from the moment it was turned on, four hours after the delivery was complete. The fridge is making a very significant and loud noise, similar to a tractor vehicle, and is very evidently not working as it should. I own two units of this fridge, and the second unit is silent. This further demonstrates that this unit is faulty. I contacted the manufacturer, Samsung, on 23 August 2023, a day after the delivery was complete, to report the fault and ask for it to be repaired. An engineer visited on 31 August 2023 and agreed that the fridge is evidently not working as it should and that the fridge should not sound like a tractor. The engineer suggested this is likely due to poor handling of the fridge during transport, and that the fridge was likely put in a horizontal position at some point, causing the oil inside the fridge to stick to the system pipes and not circulate properly. The engineer mentioned that there is no way to fix the fault, and that the two possible courses of action are either to replace the fridge or else wait to see whether the noise subsides over time. The engineer asked us to keep the fridge for inspection to see whether the noise would subside. On 10 September 2023 I wrote to the manufacturer again to complain that the fault has not only not disappeared, but is rather becoming worse with time. On 11 September 2023 I had a call with the manufacturer, and they advised me to either keep waiting to see whether the fault would fix itself, or else return the fridge to the retailer. It’s been 3 weeks since the fridge was delivered, and not only has the fault not disappeared, but it has become worse. The fridge has been faulty from day 1 and I have detailed evidence from the manufacturer to prove that. I'm very sorry I purchased this fridge and with the service I received from Samsung, not taking responsibility for faulty goods. I hope AO.com will help set things right.

I think it’s the best that I could get at this time but my old fridge was the absolute best! I don’t think any fridge in the market now can compare to my old one. Pros: Consistently cold Clean / smart finish Modern look Cons: Skinny fridge, not big enough for a family of 3 adults. Doesn’t fit much inside. Our previous fridge had ample space, this one doesn’t and we aren’t able to fit everything in there. Cable is 2 metres long but it comes out of the top of the fridge so that makes no sense. Would’ve made sense to put the cable at the bottom of the fridge. Sides of the fridge get very warm. Front of fridge is glass, can’t put any magnets on it. Door doesn’t stay open so it’s hard to stock the fridge when the door keeps shutting by itself. Have to hold the door open with my foot and restock which is not fun or convenient. The door doesn’t have a mechanism to close gently. It basically slams shut on its own. Would’ve been good to include some high quality door hinges that prevent the door from slamming shut on its own.

Fantastic Fridge. Super effective at cooling. Lots of space in the fridge and very well laid out. Super quiet though it does tend to burble away quietly a bit every now and then which makes me wonder whether the burbling is normal functioning or something gone wrong. Seems to be part of normal functioning. Beautiful stylish finish too.

Great fridge, looks good and seems very efficient, good storage

Very pleased you can say delighted with this fantastic fridge. I love the look of it and it blends in well with my cream kitchen. The draws are a great way of keeping food fresh. I was alway throwing away veg and salad before now it lasts for ages. I am really am pleased I waited and saved up a bit longer to get this quality fridge. With loads of space.

Smart and stylish fridge that can be used with or without handle. Plenty of shelf space inside and in the door. Very bright inside.

Nice big fridge. Lots of storage. Clean white doors are slightly off white but maybe the glass takes on the paint colour of the room?
