Arrived damaged with dent and crease in door with inadequate packaging obvviously easily damaged

Looks great, space is good, but the filtered water is slow and not cold. Troubleshooting advice says that it is LI led to water pressure but everything else in the house is fine as pressure is high. Not that impressed but luckily, we have a tap in the kitchen that provides cold filtered water so will just use fridge for ice instead.

First one broke after 8 months, samsung customer service were appalling, 23 days with no fridge/freezer. Once it was in AOs hands though the service was impeccable, got the replacement sorted in 3 days. Lovely fridge/freezer but let’s hope it lasts longer this time.

I received my fridge freezer on Mon Jan 24th, and there are some problems. I've given the machine a week or so to bed-in to try and spot any further problems. Firstly, the right-hand door (fridge side) is not level. I can send a picture of this, but basically, it's at a slight angle, sticking up a bit. The delivery guys had left a few minutes earlier, by the time I noticed this, so I called them and they confirmed that this is something they've seen on this model before. At the time of putting the door on, they said the door hinge is effectively level, but it leaves the door in the way it is. They seemed to think this is how it should be. So, is ths a Samsung issue? How do we resolve this? Also, there's a space for a small drawer underneath the top-most fridge shelf, because there's a groove for such a drawer on either side, but not an actual drawer. It's a similar sized one to that I had on my previous unit, although while I did keep some of those for the time being - since I had to put my frozen food somewhere - that reused drawer isn't quite the same width, so just falls down anyway. Hence, I'm effectively missing a drawer. As a third issue, after opening the freezer door to get something out, and then closing it, once closed, for a few seconds it makes some strange noises that I can only describe as "whale noises", since that's how it sounds. I wondered if it was something that would need to settle after a while, but it's still doing it.

Overall pleased, BUT confused as to why there is no external drip tray in water/ice dispenser. Definitely a miss by Samsung. If had known the amount of overspill as a result, would have probably not bought the product.

Extremely spacious fridge, looks good. Water filter is fitted externally from the fridge therefore possibly restricting you location. A light under the water dispenser would of been useful. Not sure if it will stand the test of time as our 15 year old Whirlpool did.

Good points. It looks impressive. Big Black monolith perfect reenacting scenes from 2001. The lighting is bright which helps when finding items in the compartment or indeed anywhere else in the room! The kids love the filtered water and ice dispenser and I think the water does taste better. 5 warranty. Register online for peace of mind It’s Big. Lots of storage. Bad points. The doors have to be opened all of the way 180degrees to be able to pull out the drawers. This means that you cannot place it close to a wall. CHECK the measurements before you buy! We were lucky but you could get caught out as it wasn’t a problem with our previous freezer. It’s deep. It sticks out further than a standard kitchen cabinet. CHECK measurements if you do want to place it opposite something else. It could do with another drawer in the fridge so that you can separate meat, veg, dairy. The colour isn’t solid black it’s a metallic silvery black. If you want to match with non Samsung appliances it probably won’t match exactly. Recessed handles mean that you have to become ambidextrous. You open the fridge left handed and the freezer right handed. More annoying than you would think. It’s more expensive than others but hopefully the overall quality and reliability make up for that.

Good for the price, nice and roomy. The only criticism I have is the plastic on the ice/water dispenser is slightly navy in colour.
