The only thing that lets this hifi down is the lack of numerical buttons on the remote. To select a particular station, you have to cycle through all the other stations using the up/down button.

Usual excellent and friendly AO delivery service. At the current price (late April 2019) this is a cracking unit. We bought this to fill a lounge/diner with reasonable quality sound. Our expectations have been exceeded. The CD and Bluetooth inputs can be played to the max with no discernible distortion which is surprising. The included speakers are good. Hooked to KEF eggs the sound becomes really very, very good. DAB reception is not brilliant in our country location which I guess affects 5% of the population. To conclude. As a second or third system this kit provides a very good and robust sound even when pushed. Recommended

A compact stereo easily fitting onto an average depth book shelf. Easy to set up and use even for the kids. Looks really nice and unobtrusive. The sound is great and fills a medium sized room. Radio, cd and bluetooth all hassle free and function as expected. A real bargain at this price.

Item was very competitively priced. On line ordering system was easy to use with delivery arranged to suite. On the day of delivery a message with a time slot was received early in morning which gave plenty of time to organise your day. Delivery driver telephoned when he was nearing delivery which was well within time slot allocated. An excellent service, I would not hesitate to recommend them to others. Well done AO.

Overall, I am happy, sound is better than expected, FM radio reception is good, probably due to having an aerial on the roof. Only down side are the DAB radio picks up very limited stations, probably due to not having an external aerial. The other problem is that the USB will not charge my iPod whilst playing music via Bluetooth. or play iPod through the USB.

I bought this product based on the number of good reviews and the fact it plays CD's as well as dab radio. It is a good looking mini hi-fi but has 3 flaws that disappoint. Firstly the aerial is a black wire which only works if you stick it 2' up the wall - which on a white painted wall looks unsightly. Don't understand why it couldn't have a rigid aerial as other radios etc have. Secondly the display at the front is so dim that it's impossible to read unless you get right up to it and even then it's really difficult. This then leads to the 3rd flaw where you have to press the remote in a particular way in order to find a preset radio station - not made easy by the dim display. The sound is good but the system would be so much better without the previous issues.
