Could be a better build quality

Great little coffee machine. My only quibble is the pressurised baskets so I purchased a 2 cup non pressurised basket. You have to faff around a bit to get the grind right with a non pressurised basket but it's worth it to get that authentic crema.

Only had it a few days & so far so good. Expresso's are fine. Next few months will be trail/test to find my preferred ground coffee. Now to try my wife's favourite Latte. Could take a while!! As of now very happy with this machine. Water heats quick enough for me & the operation of making a cup of expresso is easy.

I bought the Swan Toaster and Kettle in pale blue and was looking for a coffee machine to compliment. Initially, I was looking at the Kitchenaid machine which lead me to this product. I read the reviews with great interest and it was clear there was a theme; that this machine was a brilliant machine and great value for money. Delivery from AO was super quick (it arrived in the middle of Storm Eunice and I live in a small town in the Brecon Beacons). Once I'd unpacked the machine, followed the very explicit instructions - which includes running water through to pre-warm your cup - genius! - I had an exceptional cup of coffee - FYI - I used Pact Coffee, as one of the other reviewers recommended. The machine (paired with good coffee) gives an excellent crema layer and the steaming arm is really good and powerful for the price of the machine. It also produces a really good foam. As with all these coffee machines, the drinks aren't boiling hot, but this does have an upside in that you can drink your coffee within minutes of making so that's a win too! Yes it is a little plasticky, but the coffee arm and the steaming arm are sturdy and overall it's a really user friendly machine and I have recommended to other coffee geek friends!

Very good machine, heats the water to the right temperature, gauge shows you when the right temperature has been reached, space under the nozzles for 2 decent size cups and you can remove the drip tray to fit a large mug under. Only fault is that the steam nozzle is a bit short for a large milk jug to fit under.
