We had chosen a 5 ring hob, which arrived but had to return it as the cabinets overhung it. We chose this hob as a replacement and are delighted we did. The arrangement of the rings gives plenty of space for larger pans. So far the only downside is the lowest flame is still too high. But we'll live with it:)

Wonderful hob, installed quickly and easily. Super fast to light and strong flames on all hobs especially so on the turbo burner. Small gripe is the hob knobs don't match my smeg oven and the logo and burner labels aren't embossed or raised like on many of their other units. This was accurately portrayed in imagery but was expecting a little more premium from Smeg, as this is featured on many other units, even within their own Cucina range.

Gas hob is very well built. Cast iron supports are in 2 pieces making cleaning easy. Lovely control of gas from the controls and having a gas flame safety system helpsnig a pan boils over if u are out of the kitchen.

Superb gas hob. Excellent layout - you can have lots of big pans on it at once - and really easy to clean. The knobs are high quality and the whole thing feels robust. My boyfriend has one in his flat and now I’m doing up my kitchen I’ve bought the same one.

The hob is a great design, the separate gas plates are adjusted to give different levels of heat which is far better than my previous job which had to be adjusted manually. I can judge more easily which one to use for a articular task. I am very pleased with its design and function. The one thing I'm finding more tricky is the ignition. It is not immediate on pressing the knob down but takes a couple of seconds. This is minor compared to all the good things about it.

Excellent hob, strong burners, quick to heat. Brushed finish makes it difficult to look clean and it holds the wipe marks - I use WD40 to wipe over to clear the smears. Note if you have cabinets right next to your hob and you boil a big pan on the wok burner you may get steam inside your cupboard doors.

Good product, looks smart, great build quality and works as expected.

This is a huge improvement on our old gas hob. The wok burner is quick and the diamond arrangements mean I can have a wok and a frying pan (stir fry and noodles separately) on at the same time and they dont even touch.
