Great little speaker absolutely mind blowing base for such a small unit. Completed my surround system to another level

Woof!!! There’s a lot of bark in this dog I can tell you! Gives you that “Oof!” Gut punch right in the feels. Top notch pressure shifting base with no distortion or muddiness. Works in absolute harmony with Sonos Gen 2 Beam and IKEA Symfonisk Bookshelf surround pair. Seriously. This adds a truly significant dynamic to low mids and deep lows. For music it’s superb at drawing out the detail whilst maintaining the heady character of the supporting frequencies; and for movies? Well it does exactly what it should do and envelopes you in a truly cinematic quality soundscape. The Sonos Beam and surround setup itself is a joy. The Sub Mini though, really does add a fantastic and tangible melange of primordial “WHOOOOMPFFF” to the home theatre experience. I’m running this in a pretty small room, but have no doubt that it would be able to serve your average living room easily. And as usual with Sonos kit, set up and calibration takes no time at all. This is no mere subliminal treat. This is a serious Sonos system upgrade, particularly for home theatre, but also for audio in general. Note that the Sub Mini can be added to any non portable existing Sonos S2 controlled audio set up. Eg. A single or stereo-paired speaker arrangement, or just a Beam / Arc etc. I haven’t tried this, but the idea of a single bedside speaker with a Sub Mini attached makes a lot of sense for folks who like to fall asleep to music. You cane have all of the tonal qualities of a loud system at a volume suitable for bedtime… If that’s your bag. Highly (and lowly) recommended, particularly when “on offer”.

Expensive yes .. but does it make a difference YES !! Close to cinema experience you can get at home you can feel the sound. I thought my Sonos system was great before this little speaker takes it to the next level.. the design is great to it’s there it looks good but it’s not noticeable with just blends in

The Sub Mini offers fantastic sound quality, is super simple to set up and is an excellent addition to a Sonos Beam. I wouldn't recommend a Beam without one of these as it just lacks any real clarity. This rocks the floor, without feeling overpowering. And can be configured to your need. A must-have for anyone looking for better clarity on their home system without breaking the bank!
