    Happy With My Purchase Overall

    4/5
I chose the all electric induction range cooker from Rangemaster rather than a duel fuel model due to the upcoming move away from new gas boilers being installed, and I feel that this cooker will be more energy efficient. This cooker replaces an old dual fuel range cooker, which if I’m honest was probably better built and just felt a bit more heavy weight. The estimated waiting time for an exact replacement, or an electric range from that brand was too long so I went for a Rangemaster and am very pleased to have it before Christmas. I am happy with my purchase as the design is neither too old fashioned or traditional but it also not too modern looking. The cream colour of the cooker is lovely and goes well with my kitchen decor. There are two ovens of the same size and this is a bonus as the old cooker had one very large oven and one narrow one, which was hardy used. However, there are a couple of negative points to raise. Firstly the induction hob makes an annoying noise when turned on, like a raspy hum. Secondly, the plate warming drawer feels a bit wobbly and not that sturdy.

    Rangemaster Toledo induction range

    4/5
The Toledo was one of the few models in stock during lockdown. So whilst not our first choice aesthetics-wise, it had all the features we wanted and at a good price. All the Rangemaster induction models are basically the same, and we're very happy with the ovens and the hob. The temperature on the hob is fast and responsive, and it's very easy to keep clean.

    Ok for the money.

Nice and neat, not top quality but within our price bracket, feels a little tinny. Works well. It’s a lot lighter than the colour shown, the oven light switch operates both , so it’s all on or none. Positive side it does have pan detection and the feel of the instrument knobs are nice. Pleased with the product.

    Induction hob plate faulty.

    1/5
Bought the Toledo 110cm induction cooker 18months ago. Since then it has failed twice …the induction plates have packed up both times On the first visit the engineer said it was very unusual for the plate to go. It is xmas day today and we have the exact same issue. It took 3 wks to resolve last time. I dread to think how long it will take this time. Our previous gas Rangemaster lasted 16 yrs and was still going strong. I am thinking we shouldn’t have replaced it but did so purely for the induction aspect and ease of cleaning. Extremely disappointed. I always wait a good year before I write a review of a product. If you buy this after the review make sure you get the extended warranty.

    Faulty build

Great looking cooker. Unfortunately there is a (apparently known) fault with the build which was immediately apparent. Delivered on the 12th, repair in progress (now the 20th).
