Looking for a stainless steel interior rather than plastic so this fulfilled that criteria (with a minimum plastic trim which helps avoid hard water discolouration especially to the spout). Have experienced premature failure of two previous kettles that barely lasted two years so hoping this upgrade will last considerably longer. Good pourer and easy to refill and see water level. Comfortable to hold. Looks stylish (in anthracite) on the counter top.
