A lovely machine. So much quieter than the last one.

Really pleased with the washer. Does exactly what you need and the electric meter barely moves when it's running so will pay for itself no doubt over the lifespan of its 5 year warranty. Idos is a great idea as are the downloadable programs. Nice one.

A good wash capacity but with ample programme selection, especially fast spin speed and very, very quiet. The only downside side is the length of the programmes but this encourages overnight use utilising the delay functionality to make use of cheaper electricity. The door opens at 180 degrees so easy access to load. Easy to downliad the app and connect the machine to the WiFi for access to remote use as well as guidance if needed.

The best washing machine I’ve ever purchased. I worked for many years in a dry cleaners with laundry and the washing machines there were Miele but after looking through AO site I found Siemens IQ 700 It’s absolutely amazing, so quiet even when spinning at 1600 rpm, various programs all changeable and when it’s finished each load….. instant unlock so no waiting for ages for door to release. As I said at the beginning…the best washing machine I’ve ever purchased. Thank you AO

Very quiet and minimal vibration during spin cycles which is great! However the 10kg load weight seems to be for certain programs only and the daily ones that are more likely to be used have limits of 4-5kg! I would have expected a 10kg wash for most of the programs so hence a low rating

This machine was purchased to replace our dead Siemens washer. My absolute dislike about this machine was when I disconnected our old Siemens washer, slid this new machine into place, and found that the cold fill and waste pipes did not reach the connections! (Our washer slot is next to the sink unit, so as close as you can get). When I pulled it back and measured, the pipes on this new machine were 22 inches shorter than the old machine. Nearly 2 feet shorter! So instead of a simple one in, one out swap I had to crawl under worktops into the washer space with power tools and cut new holes into the side of the sink unit. In use, it is quieter than our old machine and seems to do at least as good a job washing. However, the wash programmes are ridiculously long (3 hours for a simple Eco wash?) Obviously Siemens expect you to set a load washing then go to work! All our washes have been done with Variospeed selected, which takes a 3 hour programme down to 48 minutes the only way we can get our washes done in a day. The spin cycle is quiet, well balanced and removes a lot of water, significantly better than our old washer. So some highs and some lows. For this brand and the high price asked I do find the overall result disappointing, hence 3 stars.
