This Zanussi lets you wash and dry 4kg of clothes in one go, without having to come back to your machine halfway through. For a full washing load, you’ll be able to get up to 35 T-shirts into the 7kg drum, and to dry, it’ll take 4kg which works out to around 12 T-shirts. Wet clothes need more space to move around in the drum, which is why drying loads are always smaller.
Thanks to the fuzzy logic system, your washes always come out as clean as possible, even the really grubby clothes. By adjusting water level, temperature and cycle length to suit the clothes you’ve loaded in, you’ll get a really thorough wash every time.
You won’t have to spend lots of time and effort ironing your clothes once they’re washed and dried either. The Easy Iron option uses gentle drum movements to stop heavy creasing setting into the fabrics. You’ll even be able to wear some items right out of the drum.

This washer dryer is great quality and easy-to-use. With 12 programmes to choose from – including a 30 minute quick wash – this Smeg model is perfect for all kinds of washing. You’re getting a 7 kg drum for washing and a 4kg load for drying (as clothes need more room to move when they’re drying). It’s a great size for a couple or small family. There’s plenty of flexibility too as you can change the temperature and spin speed.
The unit is a condenser dryer so there isn’t a tank that needs to be emptied. You’ve also got a 24 hour delay timer and a residual time indicator. This works out how long to leave the dryer on based on the amount of clothes in the machine! Other great features include the self-cleaning detergent drawer, an auto load sensor and, child lock. All this adds up to makes this Smeg a great buy.

This washer dryer is built to last. Opting for a Bosch is always a good investment, as their models are so well made. It may be a touch more expensive, but it’s absolutely worth it for the quality you’re getting.
The 6kg drum gives you the space to wash 30 T-shirts at once. Since your drying needs more room, you’ll get 3kg for your wet clothes (that’s around 9 T-shirts). It’ll help you save a fortune on dry cleaning costs too. Delicates and Wool cycles are gentle enough for your finer fabrics, and it comes with options for gentle heats on your drying too.
Keeping this machine at its best is easy too. The fluff clean option flushes the pipes and drum out. It saves you a messy job and prevents clogs too. Your drum won’t smell or get grubby either, so your clothes will always come out fresh.
Well-equipped with a fantastic range of cycles this Hotpoint makes washing your different fabrics much easier. You won’t have to remember complicated settings for each different wash. It’s particularly good for Woollens and Silks thanks to the dedicated gentle cycles. Plus they'll save you time and the cost of taking them to the dry cleaners.
You’re getting a 6.5kg drum, which lets you wash around 32 T-shirts per load – a good size for a 2 or 3 person home. For drying you’ll need a little extra space for your clothes to move around, as it'll help your clothes to dry faster. This means it’ll take a 5kg load/15 T-shirts per drying cycle.
Excellent for saving time on your laundry too, this Hotpoint has a brilliant Ready to Wear cycle. It will wash and dry a small load of around 10 T-shirts in 60 minutes, so if you need an outfit or two clean before heading out in the evening, this cycle is a lifesaver.

This Indesit has a great wash to dry ratio, as the drum allows you to wash 6kg and dry 5kg of clothes. That works out to around 30 T-shirts for washing and 15 T-shirts for drying, as your wet clothes need a little more space to move around.
This model comes with Sensor Drying, which helps protect your fabrics from over-drying damage, as the heat cycle turns itself off once your clothes are dry enough. It’s particularly useful for your finer fabrics too, as the easy iron options stop heavy creasing setting in. The gentle drum movements help make your ironing much easier.
The stand out feature for washing is the intensive cycle. It uses a slightly longer wash period and vigorous drum movements to lift out tough stains – really handy for getting muddy sports gear back to its best.
