    Ovens with steam function

It’s no secret that the more moisture there is in your food, the tastier and juicier it’ll be. That’s why these ovens use steam to cook your food rather than just hot air. They work by turning water into hot steam which gently cooks your food, preserving and improving the natural flavours, texture and colour.

    Types of steam oven

    Full steam ovens

As the name suggests, everything you cook in here will be steamed to perfection and work at 100% humidity levels all the time.

    Combination steam ovens

These ones give you the option to add steam to the cooking process if you like. So, they’ll use a combination of air and steam, which results in a crispy outside and a fluffy inside.

    Ovens with a steam function

These ovens give you everything you want from a standard oven, with a steam function as an added extra. Most of these models will have a water tank that needs to be filled so you can use it as a steam oven.

What are the benefits of cooking with steam?

    Tastier results

Steam helps to lock in flavours, colours and textures to make all your dishes delicious. So, whether you’re roasting a chicken or baking a cake, steam cooking is designed to bring out the best taste.

    Cooked to perfection

No more dry roasts! By cooking with steam, foods are crispy on the outside and moist in the middle – exactly as they should be. It means you don’t have to worry about anything drying out.

    Better baking

Humidity can make a huge difference when it comes to baking. Puddings, cakes, whatever you’re making, getting the moisture levels right is half the battle.

    Healthier cooking

Cooking with steam means you don’t need to add oils or fats during the process and helps to keep the natural nutrients and minerals trapped inside.
