    Response Time

    What is response time?

The response time gives you an idea of how quickly a screen updates its picture. Measured in milliseconds (ms), the lower the number, the faster it’ll do what you want. Whether you’re flicking between tons of tasks, editing a video, or on a long gaming sesh, it’s a multitasking must-have.

For a screen that’ll keep up with your video editing or design work, 5ms or less is ideal for a smooth experience.

When it comes to gaming, the milliseconds matter most. For instant reactions, 5ms or less will work, but you’ll notice the difference if you pick a screen that’s closer to 1ms.
