    Basic Dishwasher

    We chose it due to the fact it was the only one that has fixed door fixing kit. Other AEG were sliding doors. I was not happy with how basic it is with no smart features. selecting menu functions are not intuitive and easy. Also it does not seem to dry dishes if running on 30 mins cycle. I called AO and they sorted me out with no quibble and arranged for a replacement with a different brand. AO is amazing and will definitely keep coming to them for our future purchases.

    The interior is sturdy and it cleans really well on just the 30min setting. I like the air dry function which seems to work well. I do feel it doesn’t hold quite as much as my previous dishwasher which fitted in the same spot, but it’s plenty of space for us so that’s not a worry. I also wish there was a function between 30 minutes and 90 minutes, but again, as it seems to be washing very well on the 30 minutes, this isn’t a massive issue for me. All in all seems to be a great little machine, let’s just hope it lasts.

    This dishwasher is the same make to replace the one that broke down. It is quieter than my previous one but has a lot less bells and whistles - no floor light, no audible end of programme indicator, no led display on the control panel. The door when open fully, does not lay flat, causing the bottom basket to keep rolling back into the machine when trying to load it up. But it seems to wash the dishes to satisfactorily.
