I recently have a puppy and needed a cleaner space is limited so an upright was not an option. I spent a good time doing my research and looking at reviews and YouTube tutorials on them and found the spot cleaner to be a perfect fit. It’s more powerful than the other brands I looked at. The motorised head was a main feature as no other cylinder cleaner has this. After using it for a couple of weeks it’s money well spent. On spills your able to suck the spill up and then go ahead and clean it. You can turn the motorised head off and just have it normal which is great especially for more delicate areas ie sofas etc… hope this review helps someone else as these items are a considered purchase. But when I had weighed up how many bottle of a branded spot cleaner I had purchased over the last few months I should of purchased this earlier.

This product fit the bill in so many ways. A full size unit is too big to store and use, and to repeatedly hire the full size would not be economical. This size is ideal ,perfect for rugs and upholstery. It works a treat on the car seats too. Very pleased with this product and after borrowing mine, my daughter has bought her own.

Just bought the rug doctor portable spot cleaner, within days of our purchase spilled a glass of white wine. Surprised at how much of the liquid was sucked out of the carpet, carpet dried quickly no sign of a wine stain. So far so good. Unable to give a more in depth review as we haven’t really given the product a good go. Its all plastic but seems to be of a decent quality.

Simple to use and compact to store. Can be a bit on the heavy side when full, but the two handles help when moving it about.

I have an upright carpet cleaner with attachments and they are no way near as good or as quick as when using this machine. I nearly bought another well known brand spot cleaner but after trying a friends Rug Doctor on sofa and stairs I was sold on this one. none of the others have a brush that rotates, which really saves time and elbow grease.

Spot on , I was after a compact cleaner to clean my 3 piece suite and dining chairs and this was just the job

Saw a professional use one of these in my home when my dog had had an epileptic episode. There was a lot of smelly drool everywhere. It cost me £95 for him to clean the sofa cushions. So to have my own is fab, used it already, and my son has used it on his car twice. Only had it a few days !! Excellent little machine.

Very easy to use and cleans brilliantly. Large tank capacity means I can clean a good sizes area, I cleaned all my stairs and car in one fill. Well worth the money.
