I bought this as a temporary measure. It ticks all the boxes and does the job beautifully. My only qualm is the control knobs. They are totally black and it is difficult to make out the markings. If these were either white or red, I wouldn't have to go searching for my reading glasses each time I want to use it!

I bought this twin hot plate, as it looked good and sturdy. I was not disappointed. The rings quickly reach very good temperatures, just like a full size cooker. Its easy to clean with no crevises or gaps for food to get a trapped in and it does look good as I'd hopes, with a sleek design. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase and will now look for a mini oven of the same quality to match it.

Cooker was not working and we are in lock down. So this was my go to. I ordered this and it arrived the next day. Delivery was super and time slot was given. I will use this till I can get a cooker delivered and fitted in. In the meantime I will continue cooking my curries and pastas on my new hob. Beats up really quick and easy to use. I recommend everyone have one just in case .

Great little hot plate that is doing a grand job while we're waiting for our new cooker to be delivered. My only issue with it is that there's no distinct or obvious click on and off when you turn the temperature dial. It just turns smoothly from min to max making it easy, in my opinion, for it to be left on accidentally so I always ensure I switch it off at the wall after using.

After ordering a dodgy one from amazon I went back to the trusted ao and what a perfect little hob during a renovation, sleek, gets hot quick just like a normal hob. Well worth the money.

Amazing. I bought two of these when my gas cooker was condemned with a gas leak. Fortunately, I already have a halogen oven and a microwave so I wouldn't be without but I use a food delivery service which has many reacipes requiring a hob and these are a god-send. I've found them really easy to clean and they heat up very quickly. I'm very impressed with the quality, esp[ecially for the price. I've now been without a proper cooker for 5 months and thankls to these I'm in no rush to push my budget. I always thought a solid-plate hob desight would be something I'd stay away from but I'm honestly so impressed that I'd even considr it for my replacement cooker, that's if I ever bother to get one!

Does the job well for a relatively small amount of money. Slow to heat up but then it works fine. Effective substitute for a cooker hob whilst I'm in a rental property.

We bought this when we moved into our current home as we were unable to fit a kitchen and compliant cooker/hob immediately, and presumed we’d need this for no more than 6 months until the kitchen was sorted. Whaddaya know- life had other ideas and the kitchen had to be delayed. Nevertheless, this mini hob is still going strong (one of the small legs fell off about 2 years ago, but we just prop it up). Be warned- the underside can get very hot so be careful about using it on particular surfaces. It’s served us brilliantly to date- great value for money for such a cheap little thing!
