So far excellent. Cleaned stains out of sofa that had been there a while. Easy to use.

Used it a few times since getting it. It's a really good machine. Cleans very well, handy size and weight too.

We had a few spots on rugs and decided to buy the Bissell Spot Clean Pro. It was delivered very quickly and I think a day early! We found it very easy to use, it didn't drench the rugs as we were concerned it would, which is a bonus with wooden floors, we were amazed at the dirty water that was collected, I really didn't think they were that dirty, bar a few odd spots , how wrong I was! All rugs were came up brilliantly and so please we purchased!

Excellent machine and exactly what was needed. Only issue so far is that tools storage is non-existent with the obvious problems that ensure.

I've only used this twice now, but so far it's done great job. Pros: - The machine is quite compact, a little smaller than I expected. It fits nicely on a cupboard shelf. - Cleaning performance seems good. The suction is super powerful an really seems to pull the dirt out effectively. Our neighbour's cat had an upset tummy and decided to do a very smelly, very wet poo on our dining room carpet. This managed to get the smell out completely in just a couple of passes. It does leave the fabric slightly damp, but only very slightly. It helps if you fill the tank with hot water (60 degrees max, according to the instructions, but I just went with whatever temperature comes out the tap and it was fine). - It does come with a small bottle of cleaning solution. It's enough for about four tank-fulls. One tank full will probably be enough to clean a medium-sized rug. - It's pretty easy to use. Just spray to wet down, leave it a few seconds, then vacuum back up. The hose is long enough for most jobs you'd use a compact machine for like cleaning the sofa or car interior, but it might be a bit of a faff if you wanted to clean an entire staircase or something. Cons: - It's very noisy. Much louder than I expected. Probably not any louder than a normal vacuum cleaner but just being on your hands and knees next to it can make it seem pretty intense. - There is nowhere on the machine to attach the accessories. It only comes with two cleaning heads, so there's not a lot to manage, but it's annoying to have plastic accessories kicking around in the bottom of your cupboard that you need to dig out ever time you want to use it. If they just had a couple of clips or something to attach the accessories and keep them tidy, that would be a huge help. - Cleaning the machine after use is a little involved. There are lots of bits that need to be cleaned separately and there's a whole procedure involving filling a bucket of clean water and sucking it up with the vacuum. I managed to create a big puddle on the kitchen floor in the process. But hey, at least I had a vacuum handy to clean it up! And then setting out a whole bunch of parts that take ages to dry before you put it away is a bit of a pain too, especially if you just needed to clean up one small spill quickly. Overall, the machine is well designed and seems well put together. It does the job well and isn't super bulky. I'd give it a solid recommend if you're looking for something capable but only for occasional use.

I was at a lost how to spot clean stains on my carpets.8 Decided to do some research and I discovered the Bissell Pro 1558E carpet cleaner. I am glad I bought it. Very easy to use. You fill one compartment with hot tap water and some cleaning liquid, thoughtfully provided. I used 60ml easier to measure than the stated 59 ml. It is not lightweight to carry but you can carry it and it also has wheels to tug along. The machine is noisy but that is to be expected, similar to a large vacuum cleaner. I was encouraged to see how much dirty water collected in the second container. It does the job. Managed to clean the hall, stairs and landing in one go. Glad I bought it. A great cleaner for the price.
