The kettle boils quickly and turns off fairly promptly when it reaches boiling point. The most remarkable thing about the kettle is how quiet it is - disconcerting at first because you think that it is not heating the water. As well as the windows on both sides to see the water level, there are three red tags inside the kettle ostensibly to show one, two and three cups, but since they slide up and down they do seem rather pointless. The kettle body, but not the base, is made of metal, which minimises the use of plastic.

Bought this as a replacement for the same model which had got taken over with lime scale. Very happy with the product’s performance and will be keeping better care of this one!

A Which? Best Buy and well deserved. Feels sturdy, quick to boil and easy to get the quantity right. Only quibble is the slow auto switch-off.

Excellent kettle, boils water quickly, quietly & efficiently. This is the second one of this model that I've bought, no regrets.

This kettle was exactly what I was looking for easy to clean & a small cup boil facility quite as well.

So far has been great working smoothly. Fits well with my kitchen as well and really cannot hear the kettle making a loud whistling noise like your everyday kettle. Also it's easy to clean as well so personally for me it's a great investment I've made.
