Cheap but not very cheerful Very poor quality

Delivery was fine. Toaster handle was broken when opened package. Small dent on side as well. Despite telephone call for 45mins there was no answer. Tried Live chat twice, no response. Still waiting for some contact with company after putting in an official complaint. Very disappointed.

We had delivery of the items on 9th June,the kettle is fine but we attempted to use the toaster for the first time, plugged it into the mains, pressed the lever down,there was a loud bang and the toaster was then unusable. We have since had a refund.

Initially thought this might have been a good buy as looked good on opening, but kettle is noisy and the toaster is much slower than previous toasters.

The kettle is definately quick to boil and the toaster is ok but the kettle gives no indication of how much water is in. I should have checked properly.

The toaster set off the smoke alarm on its lowest setting and the eject button did not work . We contacted Russell Hobbs and then were transferred to AO and the very next morning got a replacement set .So far it all seems to be working nicely. Well done for that service . Just read at the bottom not to mention service but sorry that is the whole point surely . Otherwise the review would be "Toaster was duff"

The toaster is very good, works well with facilities for frozen bread and reheating. The kettle works well enough but is basic. There is no light to say its on, no window to show water level and the lid has to be lifted off, often they are hinged. Not bad for the money.
