OK. So I have only been using it for 3 days. It does not toast bread. It burns it to a crisp. Only on the minimal setting of 1 does it work and produce toast. Anything else and it just burns it to flame. I know it's not right but what can I do?.

The toaster is just the colour I needed to blend in with other small electrical items in my kitchen, and looks more modern than others I looked for. It toasts 2 slices at a time and depth of colour on bread is good. I havent tried crumpets or buns yet so watch this space. Russell Hobbs give a 2 year guarantee which is great

It is a very nice toaster, it certainly looks the part and it is well priced. When it comes to its performance, it is also a good bet as it has a long slot which means you can toast long slices of bread, pitta breads... It toasts bread much faster than the toaster I had before, which is a bonus.

Con: Stainless steel shows finger marks Pro: Functionally quit nice, controls all feel good to operate. The slot is a good size and the ability to lift and check the toast mid-cycle without cancelling is a useful feature.

I like this, the silver side is almost as clear as a mirror. It is perfect for plain bread. I would say it doesn't toast totally evenly, but it's close. I have a loaf now with slices that didn't completely fit in my old toaster, they were too tall, but they fit much better in this one.

Lovely,lightweight toaster, one negative....it only does one slice at a time!
